Personalised Ang Pow Packet DIY

Do you write names on the back of Ang Pows for those special people in your life? I do. I mean I used to but this year, not anymore for today, we personalized our Ang Pow packets :D

Personalised Ang Pow packet

First, you’ll need to choose a picture of the person you are giving the Ang Pow to. This is easily done by stalking their Facebook account :P I helped Ethan to get the pictures of my nieces from my sisters’ FB account and saved them in my PC. I deliberately saved them upside down so that when we print, we’ll have space to fold and cut. Don’t tell me to adjust the alignment as I don’t know how to do all those! >_<

So Ethan chose my niece Hazel to start with.

There, my niece Hazel is on paper :P

You’ll need an old Ang Pow and carefully tear it open. Use it as a template. Trace around the template.

Like that.

Cut.

Tah-dah!

Fold and paste accordingly.

The personalised Ang Pow packet is done! Quick and easy, even a 4 year old can do it.

Ethan did for all my nieces and some of himself to be given to his grand parents. This year I do not need to write names behind Ang Pow packets anymore :D

Very good idea wor. It’s much easier to distribute angpow by looking at the cover photo. Unlike me need to remember the angpow packet, I even written the name on certain angpow too kekeke
