Lexis Hibiscus Port Dickson: A Perfect Family Destination
We went for our first family holiday this year at Lexis Hibiscus, Port Dickson. We have always wanted to come here since their soft launch over a year ago but decided to wait until they are fully completed so that we can fully enjoy their facilities. The first thing I noticed was that they have free WIFI and the coverage is pretty strong throughout the entire resort. Thumbs UP!
Before I go into details, here is our video summary of Lexis Hibiscus Port Dickson in just 1 minute.

Lexis Hibiscus Port Dickson
12th Mile, Jalan Pantai
Pasir Panjang 71250
Port Dickson, Negeri Sembilan
Malaysia
Tel: +606 660 2626
Website: http://lexishibiscuspd.com/
Nestled along Port Dickson’s pristine Pasir Panjang beach and overlooking the Straits of Malacca, Lexis Hibiscus Port Dickson is only an hour plus drive from Kuala Lumpur.
Lexis Hibiscus Port Dickson is also the proud record holder of Guinness World Records for achieving “The most swimming pools in a resort” as all units are equipped with its own private dip pool
and “The most overwater villas in single resort” with a stellar collection of 639 pool villas comprising of 117 tower rooms and 522 picturesque seawater villas. These two results were verified on 14 October 2016.
Lexis Hibiscus Port Dickson is also home to Malaysia’s tallest water fountain.
Soaring above the Straits of Malacca at 400 feet, the fountain provides a scenic backdrop for photography.
WHAT TO DO HERE?
There are endless activities suitable for families here at Lexis Hibiscus Port Dickson.
Here are some of the exciting activities we did over our 3D/2N stay.
GO ON A HELICOPTER RIDE
The highlight of our trip is to check one item off our bucket list to go on a helicopter ride.
Lexis Hibiscus Port Dickson holds the distinction as the first five-star resort of its kind in Malaysia to build its own helipad for added travel convenience and service for its esteemed guests.
I went on my first helicopter ride and it was awesome!
They were having a promotional rate of RM200 nett per person then. I am not sure until when this promotional rate applies so it is best to give them a call to verify should you wish to experience this helicopter tour too.
Payment and registration are made at the Front Desk and we were given a time slot for us to be at the air-conditioned Heliport. We waited there excitedly for our turn to go on the helicopter ride.
Do watch this video of our helicopter joyride for a bird’s eye view of this award-winning iconic resort and its surrounding areas.

FISH FEEDING @ BLUE LAGOON
Next item off our list (especially little Ayden’s bucket wish) is to go on a boat ride to feed fish at the Blue Lagoon. It was Ayden’s first boat ride and he enjoyed every moment of it.
Fish feeding activity is available at Lexis Hibiscus at the price of RM30 nett per person for one hour.
The meeting point is at Hibiscus Jetty. From here we took a 30 minutes breezy boat ride to Blue Lagoon.
The weather was perfect.
We were given life-jackets before we embark on our journey. It was exciting to have the cooling sea breeze caressing our face and feel the spray and splashes of the wave on our skin.
The boat stopped at Blue Lagoon and we were given slices of bread to feed the fish.
We were lucky as we spotted some rather big fish gobbling up our breads!
I even managed to record it on video so do spare a minute to watch our fish feeding video.

KIDS WORLD
The boys had been eyeing on Kidz World from the moment we stepped foot here at Lexis Hibiscus.
Kidz World is a fun enclosed room where kids can have great fun. Entrance fee is RM20 per kid/hour.
We left the boys here for an hour while Darling and I went to get our much needed massage at the Wellness Centre at Hibiscus Walk. I’ll touch on that in a while. For now, let’s watch this video of the boys having fun at Kidz World, Lexis Hibiscus.

HIBISCUS WALK
This unique Hibiscus Walk, located just beside the Resort, is open to in-house guests as well as the public.
Rows of stalls offering wide range of Malaysian cuisines at affordable price.
At the end of those rows of food stalls sits this Wellness Centre.
Darling and I dropped by for a much-needed massage session while the boys were having fun at Kidz World.
Packages start from as low as RM30.
I felt so rejuvenated after my foot reflexology session. Both Darling and my massage came up to only RM75. Pretty reasonable for a resort price I must say.
Other than the Wellness Centre at Hibiscus Walk, we also have the option for a private room couple massage and beauty treatments at LexSpa, located at level 2 of the main building at Lexis Hibiscus.
We brought the boys over to Hibiscus Walk after our massage to grab some ice-creams.
We made our way back to Hibiscus Walk at night to catch the fantastic Fire Eater performance.
WAIT, THERE’S MORE!
Yes, you read me right. There are more to do here other than the exhilarating helicopter and boat ride.
YOYO CAR
If earlier we had fun in the sky and on water, it is now time to explore the land.
We took the boys for a spin in the Yoyo Car.
Well, in my case, it was ETHAN who took ME for a spin! That boy really surprised me by being able to handle the Yoyo car like an expert!

SEGWAY NINEBOT
We also took the opportunity to ride on the Segway Ninebot. I’ve always wanted to ride on one since I watched my all-time favourite action star Jackie Chan on a Segway.
I finally rode on the Segway and it was such a breeze! I thought it will be difficult to balance but I was wrong. I can operate this thing with my eyes close!
Anyway, I rode on it for a while only as I had to watch over the kids. Darling took it for a ride around the resort for 30 minutes while the kids played in the playground.
PLAYGROUND
There is a playground by the resort’s main common pool nearby the lobby.
The boys love this playground as there is a lot of climbing they can do.
Ayden taking a leisurely swing in the perfect weather.
ARCHERY
On our final day here, we had some time to spare after breakfast before checking out, so we decided to have more family fun together.
We went for archery. Archery is one of our favourite past time. We go for archery whenever we have time. However, I am still not good at it no matter how many times I tried.
My Robin Hood Darling fares better in archery.
This Ethan so banyak gaya and he too, fares better than me. I’m just hopeless in archery lah. Period.
Even Ayden wanted to have a feel of it so we let him hold the bow for a while. When he grows bigger, I am sure he’ll fare better than me too. That is for sure
EXPLORE THE RESORT ON WHEELS
Bicycle and tandem bike rental are available at the resort too.
It was fun exploring the resort on our own wheels other than riding the buggy.
WOW! That was so much fun we had, wasn’t it? I never expected this resort to be so lively and full of activities to keep us occupied. There are more to do though. However, we did not manage to explore them all as there are only so much we can do over 3D/2N.
Should you wish to explore further out of the resort, shuttle services to nearby town are available twice daily. Prior booking is required as space is limited.
OUR VILLA
Now let’s take a look at our accommodation. Are you interested to see the room we stayed in?
We stayed at Panorama Pool Villa and were privileged to check-in at The Lighthouse instead of the Lobby.
Check-in was swift and we helped ourselves to refreshments while waiting for the buggy to drive us to our room. We are also entitled to complementary cocktails at 5pm-7pm daily at The Lighthouse Bar which I will elaborate more later in this post.
Our room – Panorama Pool Villa (Seaview)
We stayed in this spacious Panorama Pool Villa (Seaview). At 926 sq ft (86 sq mtr), our unit features two king beds, comfortable furniture and a sizeable bathroom.
Situated on the style of the hibiscus flower, we get to enjoy beautiful unobstructed sea view from the balcony as our unit is not exposed to the walkways and do not have other units facing our pool directly.
We love the super huge marble-clad bathroom. Travelling with kids, we appreciate having excess space to move around.
Our villa comes with a bathtub and it has an amazing view of the dip pool and the sea but not to worry, you can always put the blinds down to prevent fishermen from jumping into your villa while you are enjoying your bubble bath
Here is the bigger picture of the beautiful unobstructed view of the sea.
There is also a private steam room by the dip pool for maximum indulgence.
I love waking up early in the morning to enjoy this gorgeous view from our balcony of the sun rising with the moon still lingering around and look forward to soak in our private dip pool at night before going to bed.
Nothing beats having our very own private pool to dip in total peace and comfort as our villa has no other units facing our pool directly.
I’m excited to show you the TV here.
The camouflage LED TV is totally awesome. It disappears in the dark glass mirror when switched off and appears like magic when it is being switched ON! iLIKE!
The drinks in the mini bar are all inclusive. Please ignore the plastic bags. Those are the boys’ medication. I always travel with basic medication.
I called the Front Desk to check and was told that all units enjoy complimentary mini bar here at Lexis Hibiscus. The house-keeping staff even topped-up our mini bar the following day.
We even got complimentary tidbits in our room every day.
Our room is cleaned twice a day. In the evenings when we returned to our room, we discovered that the house-keeping team has meticulously placed bottled drinking water by our bedside and bedroom slippers by our bed ready for us to retire for the day.
I believe a picture speaks a thousand words but a video is worth a million so let me bring you to a virtual tour to our Panorama Pool Villa (Seaview).

I love their Seafood BBQ Buffet dinner too and for breakfast, there is one item from their buffet spread that I MUST HAVE – nasi lemak bungkus.
For a person who doesn’t eat rice if I can help it, I ate 2 packs of this nasi lemak bungkus in the mornings I am here ‘coz it is just too good. The rice is very lemak and fragrant and the sambal is just nice. I am not the only one loving this nasi lemak as I see them flying off the buffet table as soon as they are being replenished.

We had brunch on our final day here with a variety of homemade pastries and cold press juices.
We were served homemade jams and overnight oats to go with the pastries.
Our choices of mains.
My eggciting brunch
We dined with a gorgeous view here at Wave Dining but I still miss the nasi lemak I had for breakfast at Roselle Coffee House the day before
At night, we went up to Sky Bar to catch this breathtaking view of the entire resort.
Such a beautiful place this is. Standing here looking at this larger than life hibiscus resort is simply mesmerizing.
********
Side track a little, do you know Jay Chou stayed here recently? He came here for a vacation with his wife and daughter before his Invincible Concert Tour 2016 in Kuala Lumpur. You can read about it as reported by The Star here.
He stayed at the Presidential Suite and we were privileged to be able to take a tour of the double-storey suite. I recorded our tour so I can share it with you guys. Watch the video here:

We had a marvelous time here at Lexis Hibiscus. Definitely a great start to 2017.
I got to spend some private moment with Darling after the kids go to bed. I finally realized my dream of holidaying here.
Totally recommended for a family vacation as well as a romantic getaway <3
Oh dear!!! I need a massage too…badly!
Wow!! Looks like you all did so much there! So envy!!
I went to Grand Lexis once with my girl friends and I miss the trip so much!
Going with kids also got its fun la… =)
What a nice family holiday! All very nice photos.
Wow! A very long post. But interesting family holiday post. Love the photos. Especially when you guys on the boat. And I want massage too!
Wow so many activities there, nice!
My sis had been to this resort before, but for me, when I went Port Dickson in 2012, I stayed at Avillion
wow, u guys did so many activities here!
That seems like a perfect family holiday as well as a romantic location. The write up has been so elaborate and self explanatory. And lots of activities. We are contemplating to stay here or Avani Sepang Goldcoast Resort but I think Hibiscus wins hands down.
