Impiana KLCC | New Deluxe Plus Room
Sometimes the best vacation is a staycation especially for us urban folks. A break from our routine is the very thing we need every once in a while.
Last weekend we did just that. We stayed in, unplugged and restored at the new deluxe plus room in Impiana KLCC Hotel.
Impiana KLCC Hotel is located right in the heart of Kuala Lumpur city centre opposite the great Petronas Twin Towers and Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre. It has recently launched new Superior Plus and Deluxe Plus rooms.
The introduction of the new room categories underscores the Hotel’s commitment to meeting the evolving needs of today’s business and leisure travellers, and delivering a cosy, comfortable and memorable experience to guests during their stay.
The first sight that greeted us is this huge lobby. A gorgeous giant flower arrangement takes centrestage with a voluminous chandelier hanging above it.
Little Ayden was given a complementary apple by the friendly staff at the reception counter while I was checking-in. The check-in process was swift and I appreciate the fact that the hotel chose a healthier option of apples instead of candies as a treat for its guests.
Ayden requested to ride on the bellboy’s trolley with our luggages to our room and the cheerful bellboy happily allowed him to. He immediately made Ayden’s day with that ride.
Being in the hospitality industry, it is important for hotels to create a great first impression. Every member of a hotel staff plays an important role, from the concierge to front desk to the room attendant and what we have encountered from our arrival is nothing but impressive. Little gestures from these staffs assured us that our stay here will be a great one.
We stayed in their new Deluxe Plus room. We took the Hollywood King Bed with an additional bed for big bro Ethan.
Our room number is 1215

Snuggling in our bed while watching Harry Potter on the 50″ tv
The commodious room is still comfortable enough for us to move around even after adding an extra bed for big brother Ethan.
What I love about our stay here at Impiana KLCC Hotel is the 24-hour pillow service. We are very particular about our pillows hence having this pillow menu where we can select our preferred pillow for the night is a dream come true!
I love the well lit and modern work space in the room.
We get to see the gorgeous KL city skyline from our room.
The bathroom comes with exclusive amenities.
New addition of the rain shower head makes for a refreshing shower time.
Complementary bottled drinking water and coffee & tea making facilities.
Our room also comes with a well-stocked private mini bar.
The potpourri in the closet makes a wonderful sight as well as provides a welcoming and natural scent.
We kept our personal belonging in the room safe while we were out swimming.
There’s an infinity edge pool on the 4th Floor.
Ayden got complimentary apples again here at the pool towel counter. An apple a day keeps the doctor away :)
The infinity edge pool with a view of the Twin Towers.
Cedar On 15
For dinner, we feasted on the glorious Grill and Chill Barbeque buffet at Cedar on 15.
Cedar on 15 is a chic and contemporary rooftop restaurant and bar at Impiana KLCC hotel.
Super love the fresh red rose on our table.
Located on level 15 of Impiana KLCC Hotel, it offers a stunning view of the Kuala Lumpur city skyline.
Diners will be spoilt for choice and die-hard carnivores and seafood fans will not be disappointed with the line-up of meaty and seafood delights such as BBQ Beef Ribs with Pineapple (our favourite), Rosemary and Garlic Lamb Shoulder, a mixture of Thuringen Chicken, Beef Frankfurters and Chicken Cheese Kransky grilled sausages with Onions and Tomatoes, Herb Lemon Marinated Blue Emerald Fish, Chili Coriander Spiced XO Prawn Skewers, Grilled Butter Garlic Blue Crab and Fish Brochettes with Onions, accompanied by a selection of well-loved sides – Mac n Cheese, Butter Mashed Potatoes, Saute Vegetables and Baked Beans.
Mac ‘n’ Cheese
We were in for a treat with top-notch entertainment and electrifying beats by Harmony & Rhythm band.
The Grill and Chill barbeque and beer buffet are available at Cedar on 15 every Friday and Saturday. The barbeque buffet is priced at RM128 per person and is available from 7pm to 11pm whereas the beer buffet is priced at RM79 per person and lasts from 6pm to 8pm.
Tonka Bean Café & Deli
Our breakfast at Tonka Bean Cafe at Impiana Hotel was great with a wide selection of food on the buffet spread as well as action station.
Cheesy omelette just the way he likes it.
Freshly made waffles with peanut butter and jam and pastries are Ayden’s favourite.
A must for breakfast – yogurt.
This cafe is family and wheelchair friendly as there is a proper ramp leading into the cafe.

Yes, a short staycation is nice and away from normal routine. For me, it would be a 45 minutes drive to beach resort and enjoy the sea and sun. Long time didnt do that.
very nice staycation! everyone sure enjoyed it!
I’d love to have a big TV like that in every hotel room!
Gee! I’d better delete my post on the hotel where I stayed in Miri, so miserable compared to this. But it’s nice enough and cheap though.
