Smuggling Popcorns
Mothers are supposed to show good example to their kids as kids usually mimic their parents’ every move. Pity my boys as I am not such a good role model lah. During the recent school holidays, we made popcorn at home. If you follow my blog, you would have read my post about our kitchen project – making popcorn. If you haven’t, then let me share with you the video on how to make popcorn. It is surprisingly extremely simple.
It is so easy to make our own popcorn and it taste so good that I’ve made it 5 times todate.Â
Coming back to what I was supposed to tell you. The Daddy booked tickets to Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles – Out of the Shadows during the recent school holidays. We usually buy popcorn for our movie outing but this time, I made a tub at home and smuggled it into the cinema!
I actually asked the boys if they prefer to buy the popcorn from the cinema but they said they like my popcorn so I quickly went into the kitchen to pop some before heading out to the cinema.Â
And… here they are with their smuggled popcornÂ
I don’t know what kind of example I’m showing my kids but it is so much cheaper to make your own popcorn yo! A movie outing is already so expensive. Tickets these days are not cheap I tell you. Add in two popcorn sets for the boys will burn the hole in my pocket even further. So during these hard times, smuggling it is.
Don’t tell anyone what I just told you okay? Let’s keep this between you and me Â
Hahahaha, yaya, will keep this between you and me only. :) (provided other people especially the cinema people cannot read).
now thats a good way to save money when bringing kids to the cinema.!
No worry. I would do the same too if I were you. Indeed, the popcorn is expensive and sometime does not taste as good as homemade.
Jahat!!! Nanti saya kasi rotan! Semua sekaligus! :D
I also wanna make our own popcorns now!!
sometimes i smuggled juice works or boost in. the other day i smuggled in chips but didn’t eat coz the drive wants pop corn
Ok what. You are teaching the boys not to spend unnecessarily. I smuggled in food many times and it’s not even me who eat them. LOL.
Movie outing for family definitely not cheap, I’m totally understand and I’ll do the same thing like you too, bring drinking water and whatever snacks I have from home :P
Luckily they no search your bag..hahah. Back then, I remember GSC at Mid valley does that. I try to smuggle a burger inside and I was lucky. Pheww…
Hahaha! I smuggled cut fruits into the cinema too.
