Marché The Curve
Darling’s birthday is this weekend but guess what? I’ll be attending Nuffnang’s Blogopolis 2012 and that itself will take me away from 8am – 6pm followed by a date with Justin Bieber (MTV World Stage) later that night in Sunway :P
So to make up for my ‘absence’ during his birthday, I took him out for an early birthday celebration last night. We went to Marché at the Curve. It’s our first time here mind you so a little bit jakun at their concept.
When we first entered, I thought that we are in some kind of grocery store! Hmm.. what to do, what to do?
Then we were told to make our order and getting stamped for each of our ‘purchase’.
Darling and Ethan’s first trip was straight to the juice counter.
They ordered Honey Dew juice and got this healthy juice (celery, carrot and apple) for me. Yums!
I ordered salad. Love the salad here. Fresh greens, berries and more berries.. I can have just this for dinner!
Ethan ordered dessert as his main meal! >_<
White chocolate cheese cake for that boy!
Darling got this wild mushroom soup for us to share. I love the chunky mushrooms in this soup but I found it not hot enough when it is served but still okay lah. Saves the time on cooling it before consuming :D
Ethan went around scouting for Kids Meal and got excited when he spotted this sign at the Pasta station.
So we ordered Spaghetti for him. The spaghetti looked kind of dry when it was served but surprise, surprise, it is actually really GOOD! Ethan finished that entire bowl of spaghetti!
I had chicken chop which I don’t really fancy :( I mean it is not the chicken chop, it is just me. I love fish too much. Should have just stick to my all time favourite – fish! I ordered this because this is one of the items in their berries promotion.. haiz.
Darling ordered grilled fish and he loves it so much! It’s slightly sour and moist, I love it too. In fact, we love it so much that he ordered another one of this just for me! Haha.. and I thought we are here to celebrate HIS birthday! Aww.. he’s so sweet :D
We finish off our dinner with two scoops of Häagen-Dazs ice-cream. Caramel and mango. I love the caramel for their crispy bite pieces where else Darling loves the sour mango. I think he’s pregnant! :P RM10 for each scoop weh!
Your visit to Marché is not official until you take a picture with the Marché cow. There! NOW, it is official! We came, we ate, we blogged! Muahahaha…
Ethan said he loves this place and wants to come again. I know what he wants. That white chocolate cheese cake!
Heard and read a lot about Marché . I have yet to give it a try.
Passs by the restaurant N times but never walk in…hmmm should make a trip there…quite interesting!
The last time I came here before I had Elise….soooo long. I love their juice…can mix a few of our own choice.
Nice foods and the steak look delicious. Never been to Marché before.
Saw it in Singapore long long ago, cows and all…and now in KL, so long already…never got round to dropping by to try… Must do so someday!
Never been to Marche before but I’m sure I will be more jakun than you.
My first time in Marche was actually in Singapore. I don’t know why but I still think Singapore’s better. But maybe it has improved, I don’t know. Haven’t gone to Marche at The Curve for so long.
wah wah!
I love Marche food especially the Rosti (if not mistaken, made from potatoes)..
Arh! Marche food is love! :)
We’ve been here just once, many years back. Somehow, nothing here attracts us back for a second visit ;) Wow, you all can really eat… ordered so many things! Nice celebration there. Happy belated birthday to William :)
What’s the little teddy bear doing there endlessly? :P
The bear is trying to look its cutest hoping it will be well fed :D
