Tony Roma’s Ribs, Seafood & Steak
We spent the entire day at eCurve and got really tired. We saw an empty bench in front of Tony Roma’s and quickly took a sit to rest our exhausted feet.
Thank goodness for the bench, our zonked feet got a couple of minutes of rest. Not only was our feet were dead beat, we were famished too.
That was when we spotted the latest promo from Tony Roma’s. Without delaying further, we made our way in for some much needed refuelling.
We ordered 3 of their thirst quenching and very refreshing Virgin Romaritas to re-energise us. We were not aware that they came in super huge cocktail glasses.
Ayden shared with the Daddy this Mango Romanita – RM16.85
An adventurous island mix of mango, orange juice, fresh lime juice and lime sour mix, shaken with ice. It is served in a sugared glass with a fresh orange and apple wedges.
Our 3 Virgin Romanitas – Wild Berry Romanita, Romanita (original) and Mango Romanita.
The Wild Berry Romanita is simply amazing with wild berry, orange juice, fresh lime juice and lime sour mix, shaken with ice and served in a glass dabbed in sugar.
We got the boys this Salmon with Shrimp in Lemon Sauce (RM59.25) as they simply love seafood more than red meat.
We frequent Tony Roma’s often and one of our favourite here is always their shrimps. The shrimps here are always fresh and pops in the mouth. They are kept chilled and never frozen. It makes a whole lot of difference to the texture of the shrimps. Ethan polished the broccoli effortlessly and both the boys enjoyed the yellow rice a lot.
I had this Beef Short Rib with Cranberry Demi-Glace (RM67.73)
I had this terrifically rich and flavorful grilled beef short rib topped with homemade cranberry demi-glace all to myself. It is served with fire-roasted vegetables and loaded with mashed potatoes that Darling and the boys enjoyed a lot. The mashed potatoes is serious stuff here. It is made fresh daily, uses real potatoes and never powdered ones.
I forced Darling to order this Filet Mignon with Fried Onion Rings and Demi Glace – RM63.49 as I wasn’t able to decide between the beef short rib or this, so now I can have both!
The onion rings here are to die for. They are crunchy rings with sweet, oniony inside.
Made rare to my liking. It has a firm outside with tender, juicy rare center. I busted my weekly quota of meat intake in just one evening!
What I like about dining here is the kids are always given a piece of activity sheet to keep them occupied while waiting for food to be served. Ethan loves it and Ayden is always seen scribbling colours on his sheet of paper :)
We ended our meal with this single scoop of vanilla ice-cream for the entire family to share as we were already bursting at the seams with the hearty dinner.
Tony Roma’s Ribs, Seafood & Steak promo is on-going until 18th October 2015.
I loved the one at Sunway, and this one looks really good too. Just saw a not very good review of the one at Pavilion. I have ribs in my blogpost today too – pork ribs! Yum yummmm!!!!
Oooh. I wonder what happened in Pavilion. Yes, I saw your pork ribs post. Yums :)
Lovely. I like the steak.
I love it that way. Some prefer it to be well done but not me :)
aiyo…this Ethan so greedy … hahaha.. but ok la.. taste each one and see which one is the best!! Frankly, I never been to Tony Romas.. probably there’s not one in JB and I seldom go around the city centre in SG.
Come to KL wan la :P
Tsk! Tempting me with Tony Roma’s again! Arghhhh I really want to go and try it out once!
RG, you cannot eat beef in Msia so what are you going to eat in Tony Roma? Salmon and shrimps?
Salmon and shrimps are good. I love their shrimps :D
The salmon and shrimp dish looks delicious but when I saw the price, I have second thoughts about going to eat this because the price of the beef dishes seem more worth the price.
But I always order a salmon and shrimp dish first before I go for their beef. I must always have their shrimp. I super love their shrimps. Haha.
