Every face tells a story – The Sloane Clinic’s Beauty & Your Fortune Workshop
When I received the invitation to attend The Sloane Clinic’s Beauty & Your Fortune Workshop, I accepted it immediately as I am keen to learn more on what my face has to say about me. The Sloane Clinic™ is one of the leading aesthetic clinics in Singapore and Malaysia.
I made my way to The Sloane Clinic™ Pavilion KL on a beautiful Saturday morning to attend the workshop.
From left to right: Dr Aster Low, Blogger Teycindy, Me, Blogger Michelle Ooi, Blogger Bobo Stephanie, renowed face reader Ms Cindy Chew and Dr Low Chai Ling.
The workshop started interestingly with the professional face reader from the renowed Soleil Trinity Resource, a professional Chinese Metaphysics boutique consultancy firm in Malaysia Ms Cindy Chew’s sharing on how our appearance offers non-verbal cues about our personality and disposition which will invariably affect how others relate to us and how well we do in life. Emotions, illness, good and bad fortune all leave their marks on our faces.
I remember Ms Cindy mentioning that we should have fleshy forehead, cheeks, temples and lips as a bony forehead affects our decision making skills and can be the cause of difficulty in either analysing, memorising or observing things. People going through hardship in life often have sunken cheeks. Sunken cheeks are not desirable as it indicates less affinity with our children during our old age. However if we have sunken cheeks, we can easily correct it by having fillers done to get happier, fleshy cheeks. A fleshy cheek shows power of authority and the ability to command the people around us especially our staffs (or anyone under our authority).
Our temples have a lot of story to tell. Sunken temples may lead to a bumpy path in terms of our career and also affects the quality of our relationship especially marriage. That is the reason why many people (especially women) opted to have aesthetic treatments such as The Sloane Clinic’s Voluma High Definition Lift to give their sunken temples an instant boost safely and virtually painlessly for a loving marriage, as well as a fresher visage. Basically, when we look at ourselves in the mirror barefaced, we do not want to see shadows caused by any of our sunken features.
Ms Cindy also touches on the eye area with dark circles as a sign of having health related problem usually with the womb for women and kidney for men. She also mentioned a person with a short chin usually lacks confidence and also have poor willpower. Chin implants can help augment a weak and receding chin. If you are not keen on surgery, consider chin enhancement using natural fillers to give your wealth a vital boost.
She also said basically all scars on face are bad and that hit me hard as I have acne scars :( Marks, spots, creases and indentations indicate problems. Where they are found on your face gives you an idea at what age you will face these problems, which can manifest as illness, bad relationships, accidents, money troubles and so forth. The bigger and the darker the mark, the more serious the problem will be. Hence, all scars on the face are considered bad. The skin should be clear to signify a smooth and clear life journey.
I also had the privilege to have a one-to-one consultancy with Ms Cindy after the workshop. As a full-time blogger, the power of networking is very important to me. This lies in the eyebrow. The more prominent a person’s eyebrow, the better her networking opportunities are. I must start taking better care of my eyebrows now. Ms Cindy also mentioned my nose. She said I have a good nose to earn myself good income but I also do have a rather flat nose bridge and that affects my confidence. She complimented my lips as they are well defined indicating I have a good power of speech.
A session with Dr Aster Low during the workshop enlightened us on some of the common treatments people do to improve their love, luck and life’s destiny based on the ancient wisdom (Mian Xiang) shared by Ms Cindy earlier. By using a fusion of science and art, Dr Aster Low shared simple tips and tricks on how we can instantly enhance our looks by using non-invasive aesthetic treatments. I can totally relate to the non-invasive aesthetic treatment part as I have undergone Ultherapy™ with The Sloane Clinic™ earlier this year and am very happy with the result as it gives me a better define jaw line.
Can you see the difference? Ultherapy™ has lifted the skin around my neck and under the chin area. It also stimulates the production of new collagen giving me firmer and tighter skin.
The third and final session with Dr Low Chai Ling shades some light on enhancing our youth with science. Dr Low shared with us on the many treatments available to combat the flaws we have. For me personally, my major flaw is the acne scars I have on my face. Of the many treatments available ranging from eye revival, skin whitening and facial slimming to Botox, I am extremely interested with the Luminous Program for acne scars shared by Dr Low.
Luminous Program for acne scars.
I inquire more about the program during our one-to-one session after the workshop and am glad to know that I am a very suitable candidate to take up the program as I am a Stay At Home Mom hence I have the time to stay home and heal from the redness resulting from the laser treatments.
I am currently using and loving their Sloane Inc’s 24K Gold skin primer age-defying treatment that combines pure 24 Karat Gold with the power of antioxidants and botanicals to enhance skin’s elasticity, firmness and smoothness.
This glow inducing premier works by improving circulation and decreasing skin inflammation. Pure gold helps to rejuvenate the skin from inside out, boosting skin’s natural radiance and luminescence.
I love their products so much that I made sure to test each and every product on display before the start of the workshop and grew particularly fond of one of their mask – Sloane Inc Gold Glow Recovery Mask and enquire more about it. What took me by surprise was at the end of the workshop, I was given a door gift and in that door gift was this particular mask that I was asking about. I was given the real thing worth USD65 and not just a sample size. I am impressed at how attentive they are.
Sloane Inc Gold Glow Recovery Mask.
This skin recovery cream mask contains pure gold specks that helps to sooth and keep the skin hydrated.
I was also given some travel beauty aid kit.
I left the workshop feeling more positive as I understand myself better and knowing how small changes in our face and features can bring so much more improvements not only to our looks but to our life as well. The features of our face will undergo constant change. Hence, it is vital to stay watchful over the changes of our face with time. This will ensure that our life path will unfold smoothly before us.
As Helena Rubinstein famously declared, “There are no ugly women, only lazy ones”. With the many aesthetic treatments available at The Sloane Clinic™, I can free myself from my limits of beauty.

I have watched a show before that tells that it’s the eyes that will tell a story…. I remember them telling that even a person is smiling at you, you can see if it’s real or not by looking at their eyes.
you look great by the way
I believe so too. The eyes can tell so much about a person but after attending this session, I learnt that other parts of our face have their own story to tell too.
Thank you for the compliment :)
Every part of our face tells us something. If want good fengshui, we must take good care of our skin. Thanks for sharing, Merryn.
Yes, we must take good care of our skin and our health. These days, we can seek help to improve ourselves easily. We have to take care of ourselves for our better future.
looks promising. blending clinical, beautician, and now “feng shui”. definitely make every even more convincing.
Thinking about it, there’s a logic behind all these. Pleasant looking people gets job and opportunities easier, no doubt about it. It isn’t fair but like it or not, this is the truth in most cases.
Eeee…the smallest and the cutest! LOL!!! Ummm…I do have extra thick and bushy eyebrows. :D
Hehe. Yes I’m that small. And YES, no wonder you have a great network :)
how lucky you are.. I wish I could involve in this kind of thing.. ^_^
There are no ugly women only rich ones! Hahahahaha!
