Bread Sushi
Ethan was on medical leave the other day and we got hungry but I realised we ran out of rice at home. I’ve not been cooking much lately so we don’t have much stuff stocked up at home. I checked and all we had was bread, egg and nori sheets. Bread, egg and nori sheets. What can we make out of them?
We made sushi! Bread sushi to be exact…
Here’s how we made the cheat sushi:
Cut a slice of bread into 3 equal parts. Place 2 pieces into the sushi mould. We bought the mould in Daiso at RM5.
Add egg omelette.
Cover egg with bread.
Close the mould and press hard.
Spread a nori sheet on a clean surface and place the bread and egg on one end.
Roll the nori sheet and dab some water at the end to seal it. I helped him cut.
Bread sushi is done! Simple and delicious!
Healthy and easy to make. Kids sure love them….
I love how the boy kept looking at the kor kor. Such a good boy, sitting their quietly, watching. Curious kids will be very intelligent when they grow up – they watch and learn.
To be frank, while I scroll this blog post, I am only staring at Ayden hahaha
High 5!
aiyoh, actually i enjoyed reading this post not because of the sushi, but because of Ethan and Ayden!! one is so smart and the other one (who is kaypoh-ing at the back) is so cute!! the sushi though took up the title, downgraded and became “supporting role” lah~~ :D
Looks yummy!! I mean the sushi LOL!
Hahah …so creative and healthy. Kids will love it!
Hmm sorry but all my attention is at the cutie pie Ayden! Hehe~
Cheat or no cheat, the bread sushi looks yummy. I wouldnt mind eating it.
Ayden can’t wait to eat the sushi!
Ayden steal the limelight lah! *sorry Ethan :P*
