Tonight, we sleep in the guest room
We were all in the master bedroom today after lunch with Darling showering Ethan to freshen him up before his piano lesson. Yeah, Darling showered Ethan while I was lying on the bed getting people to watch my YouTube video >_< YES, Darling was at HOME at lunch time! Ain’t I lucky or what? We are lucky to have Darling coming home for lunch EVERY day! Must be my cooking is THAT good or our house is really comfortable *big grin*
As I was lying there busy campaigning, I suddenly heard a “Toot, toot, toot” sound and suddenly the air-cond was automatically switched off. I didn’t think too much of it as I thought Darling could have switched it off, I mean he could have set a timer or something-lah!
As both Darling and Ethan emerged out of the master bathroom I casually told him the air-cond’s off and got the cheek to ask him why he set timer in broad daylight? He normally only utilizes the timer when we go to bed at night as I can’t stand the air-cond being switched on until the wee hours in the morning.
Then he said, “NO I did not set timer”. He took the remote and again switched the air-cond off (just to make sure it’s really OFF).
We never thought much about it until later at night when we were preparing Ethan for bed. We went on with our normal routine – me and him brushing teeth together, Darling, Ethan and I each take a story book and reading it out loud for all to hear.. and then.. wondered, “WHY SO HOT WAN?!!”
Darling looked at the air-cond unit and saw that it’s not working. He asked me, “When you switched on the air-cond, was it working?” I was like, “Err… when I switched it ON, am I SUPPOSED to see if it’s working or NOT?!!”
Darling rolled his eyes in disbelief! He uttered something like, “kenot believe this girl only know how to press one button and expect everything to work just fine not even bothering to see if it is actually switched ON”
I mean, come ON lah! That’s what girls do, don’t they? When we drive, do we even bother to check if the car has enough fuel or the tyres are nicely inflated? What? You girls do? OK, so maybe I’m the ONLY one who doesn’t so THAT’s the reason I DON’T drive! >_<
Cut long story short, we can’t sleep in that room tonight can we? I mean I can-lah but my two boys can’t sleep without air-cond wan. So we migrated to the guest room.
I only have 2 single beds in the guest room but there are 3 of us. How? We took our mattress from the master bedroom and laid it on the floor next to those beds so we can ALL sleep together. It’s been sometime since we all sleep together. Ethan has always slept on his own since the day he was born. He slept in his own cot and upgraded to his own bed. Never does he sleep in between Darling and I except when we are back in my hometown.
Ethan got all excited with the new arrangement. To him, it’s a slumber party. He eagerly took his pillows and sheets over to the guest room.
Tonight, I’m going to have my baby close to me. I’m going to hug him like my bolster like I’ve never hugged him before for I know, it won’t be long before he grows up, gets married and leaves the nest..

before i start my car, i will check all my tires first, then check the mirrors, petrol, temperature and my seat. we can sleep without air con. i only on the air con when i’m freaking hot or damn tired
Hahahahaha!!! True mah… You switch on, got sound mah…so no sound, sure you would realise something is wrong. Concentrate, girl, concentrate! Hehehehehehe!!!!
Suppose you can see the turn on light and the air guide should be moving when you turn it on. But it is good for the whole family to snuggle together in the same bed.

Slumber party eh? I nearly everyday also got slumber party. Maybe my children loves my bau ketiak kot. Hahaha.

Frankly, my hubb is the one who can’t let go. He wants all his loved one beside him, tsk tsk.
Changing sleeping place really can make tour kiddos excited one, even if it is just changing it to the living hall. They feel like it’s an adventure. ;p
When I switched on Aircon, I will check whether the light is on. As I am a person can’t sleep without air con too. May be you can, so you never bother the air con ok or not. Hehehehe!

My dad is a wonderful dad because he reverses the car so all of us can just drive out in the morning, no need to reverse out so…. the only thing I check is the petrol. Others all my dad or boyfriend notices. :P terrible la. wahahaha!

when u press on, place your hand near the aircond fan and feel the aircond got blow cold air or not lol
