Animal Theme Party Bags DIY
Ayden is turning 4 end of this month. We plan to celebrate his birthday at the Chinese Enrichment class he is currently attending. I only found out that they will be close for a week for the school holidays end of the month so I had to bring forward Ayden’s birthday celebration to this Friday.
We are going to have a simple and budget celebration so the first thing to do is to make our own party bags.
You know how expensive party bags are these days and how they all end up in the rubbish bins shortly after the celebration? Well, I’m not going to spend unnecessary money on those so this is how we DIY our own party bags.
We need brown paper bags. Brown paper bags are very affordable and is a better alternative to plastic bags. We’ll also need color papers, cotton, scissors and glue.
Watch this video on how to make this super simple Animal Theme Party Bags:
Once you get the idea on the basics of making an animal theme party bag, you can improvise to make other animals.Â
Ayden helped me make all 10 goodie bags.Â
This is the LAMB goodie bag that is featured in the tutorial video.Â
This is an OWL goodie bag.Â
I used liquid paper to draw the white hearts on those eyes.
PANDA goodie bag.Â
ROOSTER goodie bag.Â
SHEEP goodie bag.
Which is your favourite? Ayden loves the LAMB goodie bag as it is the first bag we did and he said he likes the colours of it. Ethan likes the OWL and PANDA goodie bag. No one likes the SHEEP goodie bagÂ
I went shopping with Ayden today and he specially selected all of the above for the party packs.
He helped me fill up the party bags with everything we bought.Â
But he got distracted by the party whistle and started playing with it.Â
Besides food stuffs, we also included stationery inside the goodie bag.
Sealed with a SMILEY face stickerÂ
Okay, now that the party bags are sorted out, one task is crossed off the list. Next on the list is the birthday cake which I am hoping to bake on Thursday. Hope it will turn out good! Â
I love the lamb bag too. So cute. Yes. Schools close for a week holiday next week.
I also been thinking of doing goodie bags for Jamie’s birthday to be brought to his kinddy. Still thinking. Haha. I had leftover from the brother’s birthday pool party 2 years ago. Can recycle the stuff.
Happy birthday to Ayden in advance. 31st Aug, a National Day baby.
Oh my! Those are just the cutest!!!
I like the sheep goodie bag. I think it looks better than the rooster goodie bag.
Wow!! I love all these creative party bags! They are better than those we could buy and then they will throw away. I am sure the recipients would appreciate these party bags and keep them as good remembrance. Now I am waiting to see mummy’s special birthday cake!
They’re really lovely! Must show my girl this – she can ask her little pupils to make them.
