Stamping Activity for Toddlers
Big brother Ethan came home with his art homework last week. His task for that week was stamping using okra and leaves. Of course little brother Ayden won’t let the big brother work on his homework in peace unless he is given the opportunity to do the same too.
So I got an extra okra for Ayden to have fun together with Ethan. I wrapped the okra with tissue as their hand gets itchy holding onto the okra.Â
Ayden had fun stamping. He is able to stamp all over the paper, filling it up nicely with the beautiful okra prints.Â
He did this all by himself. I helped paint the color onto the okra though as he was too lazy for that >_<
Here’s a short video of him stamping:
Nice kan? LoL! *shameless mom*
I should so start doing more arts and craft with this boy. I did a lot with Ethan when he was younger but slacked a bit with Ayden as I found my hands are full taking care of two boys. But I guess I should try somehow as Ayden really had a lot of fun. Ethan loves art and craft too so yeah, we will definitely be doing more of it soon :D

Nice stamping with okra! Well done Ayden.
Clever boy. We use potatoes before, I remember.
I like using potatoes. I love cutting nice shapes on them for printing.
Nice stamping art.
Yes. You should start doing more arts with the boy. For me, I am super lazy. Did not do much with Jamie other than let him doodle with colouring pencils. Hehe.
I am super lazy too. It is different with second child. LoL!
He did better than me, I have no sense or art at all ~>_<~
Alamak! I wonder what would happen if he starts stamping on walls. Haha! It is something a naughty little me would do. :)
Noooooooo! Ethan was a very nice boy. He grew up without messing the house. This little Ayden on the other hand, has drawn everywhere on the wall leaving his masterpiece on every nook and corners. Headache!
