Ramadhan Dinner Preview : Pullman’s Starry Arabian Nights
Pullman Kuala Lumpur Bangsar will once again set themselves as the ultimate dining destination on this holy month of Ramadhan for a spread of mouth-watering sumptuous selections of dishes from 21st June to 16th July 2015. Themed Starry Arabian Nights, we can expect an extensive spread of traditional Arabian and Malay cuisine. The entire place is also decorated to incorporate Arabian styles such as starry lights to create a great starry ambiance.
Last year, Darling treated his business partners here for their buka puasa dinner and they were very happy that fresh durians sourced from a local farm were part of the buffet. This year, the durian buffet is back to please diners.
We were treated to a wonderful feast of Musang King during the preview. You can read about the durian treat here.
Oh man! I’m still salivating over this yellow beauty.
This Ramadhan dinner, we can have Arabian delights without having to travel thousands of miles away.
Whole Baby Lamb with Arabian marination.
Sharwarma – a Levantine Arab meat preparation, where beef are placed on a spit is one of the most popular street food in the Middle East.
Lamb Shank Briyani with lots of cashew nuts and pinenuts is made more awesome with the long and fluffy basmathi rice.
Lamb Kofta served with flat bread is brilliant.
Yogurt with Cucumber
Beetroot Salad
Mouth-watering desserts
Besides their Arabian spread, they have the usual spread too. The kids opted to have Penne Bolognese instead as they are not acquired to eating food with spices.
Kid friendly meal – Penne Bolognese.
Their noodles are also very inviting. Ethan had that bowl of noodles all to himself.
Sushi is also part of the usual buffet spread much to my delight.
My favourite, sashimi.
Kids being kids will definitely go for the ice-cream.
As they have very special chocolate coated ice-cream cones here.
One for the big one, one for the little one.
There is also live ‘Ghazal’ performance which heightens up the mood throughout the buka puasa buffet dining experience.

nice. the durian looks tasty!
Nice spread. So many to choose and eat!!
Hah??? Arabia got durians kah? So many things not quite Arabian. Since they insist on a theme, they should stick to it…like some balik kampung buffets and they serve all the western, Japanese and whatever stuff. Might as well not have a theme, if like that.
No no. There’s an extentive Arabian spread there but my kids are not accustomed to eating Arabian food so I got them something else. I find it good that they do have something else on the side so diners will have more choices.
yes! Yes! I read your previous post about the durians and I am dying to eat durians!!! So jeles!
