DIY Butter Sandwich

It’s the school holidays this week and I have two constantly hungry boys at home. While I was in the kitchen preparing snacks for tea yesterday, Ayden had an accident in his cot. He knocked his teeth against the cot and bleed a little. Today, I decided to let the boys make their own snack. Ok maybe Ethan will be the one making it while Ayden sits down and observe :D

I should have let them make their own snacks from Day 1 of the school holidays as you can see in this picture how happy they are. Ethan got extremely excited when I told him to make his own sandwich. I let him make the simplest sandwich of all – Butter Sandwich.

Ethan loves having some sugar on his butter sandwich. I guess he is not the only one. Ayden loves it too and makes sure the big brother do a thorough job :P

Ethan’s masterpieces. They may not be the nicest looking butter sandwiches nor are they the healthiest choice but they are definitely delicious and that’s what matters most. It’s the holidays. It’s okay to eat ‘unhealthy’ every once in a while :D

Ethan fed Ayden as that little baby of mine is too lazy to self-feed… Ayden can eat the entire slice while Ethan had THREE pieces! He said this is the simplest sandwich to make yet the most delicious! Of course lah. Look at the amount of sugar he sprinkled lah!

awwww, so sweet sweet lah, kor kor making butter sandwich for didi.. hehehe!! got asamboi taste good mah, at least not chili taste, garlic taste or meat taste that would probably happened if mommy did the sandwich for Ayden~~ :D

Wow! Nicely made. I usually add butter only. No sugar. I prefer it salty.

I like the photo 1. Ayden is laughing so happily watching his big brother making the sandwich. Children eating butter and sugar sandwiches should be fine as they are so active, they will quickly burn off all the sugar.

Hahaha, the balloon caption is so funny. Of course big brother washed his hands.

Last time when I was small I also like to make this butter sandwiches with sugar sprinkled on top! Yummy!!

Oh yea, l really like the sandwich that Ethan made. I prefer to char it before sprinkle the sugar..hehe
