Strawberry Park Goh Tong Highland Garden, Genting
We were up in Genting last weekend. This time we stayed a night. Will talk about our stay later as today I just wanted to share our stop at this Strawberry Park in Goh Tong Highland Garden.
We passed this place each time we come down from Genting but every time it is at night but last weekend, we went down in the evening so we took that golden opportunity to stop here.
Goh Tong Highland Garden
The first thing we saw was rows and rows of fresh vegetables. They look so lovely that I feel like plucking and eating them straight away!
But Ethan was more fascinated with the dried insects display, mostly bees and hornets. He spent a considerable time going through each and every one!
After he is done studying insects, he was given a basket and a pair of scissors.
We then look for strawberries, preferably red and plump ones.
Once we spotted a nice one, Ethan will quickly snip it and place it in the basket.
Once we think we have enough, we bring the basket over to the cashier to be weighed.
We also saw plentiful of cutie pies waiting for new homes. I did not get any though :P
We bought their strawberry ice lolly at RM2 each. They tasted exactly like strawberry just that they are frozen! Haha.. Genuine stuff this is!
We enjoyed our time here in Strawberry Park Goh Tong Highland Garden. At least now we do not need to go too far to Cameron Highland to pick strawberries :D
I LOVE STRAWBERRIES!! lol!! so nice get to pluck strawberries!
woah! like so similar to the one in Cameron Highlands, anyway, Rm2 for the strawberry stick is pricey! I think i had them at Rm1 back in Cameron Highlands xD
Reminds me of NZ. They should have the strawberry soft ice cream too…
Know about this place, but yet to visit it……
Still have big sweet strawberries from Cameron in my fridge…
i wanna go pluck my own strawberries too!
Haha..you are right. No need to go Cameron lah. We still haven’t been there yet. Gwen loves stroberi. She sure will bug me for those cutie pies.
Strawberries overloaded!!
I like the scent of strawberry but don’t enjoy eating it. I find our country’s strawberries are sourish >.<
My kids love plucking strawberry too. But they didn’t provide us with any scissor, we pluck with bare hand.
Wow look at Ethan with his thumb up sign must be real good kids can’t lie haha. Ah Ethan got a straight thumb and according to some fortune telling (wait gotta give ang pow RM3.60 first haha) he is a steadfast person. How true?
I always forgot to drop by this place. I must bare this strawberry park in my mind when I go Genting again.
I’ve never been to this strawberry park before, only went to the one at Cameron, hehe.
Are the strawberries sweet?
the ice cream not sour?
i just went there last month for christmas and i had the strawberry ice lolly too! it was my first time eating strawberry flavour ones, and it tastes really yummy! :D
Genting ice-cream pop it’s expensive though. Cameron only selling RM1 each!
I thought this is at Cameron’s. Did not know that GoThong Place has these farms, well worth a visit on a day trip from KL with family. Thanks !
