First experience
Phew! Last weekend was a hectic one for us as Ethan had his very first public drum performance in Sunway Giza Mall for two consecutive days.
He played only drum on Saturday but by Sunday, he’s confident enough to play the piano too.
Ethan and the other 3 drummers 10, 10 and 11 years old.
Here’s a video of Ethan playing one of the 5 drum pieces.
And here’s him playing a simple piece on the piano.
Ethan performed well despite the moving crowd around him. He is not least bothered by all those distractions. This is a very good experience and exposure for him. He enjoyed performing and is already looking forward for more!
I’m so proud of my lil’ boy :’)

Ethan is very very good. I like the video he was playing with the drum. He is very very brave. My Calvin not as brave as Ethan…how to train him to be brave. I wonder how?….sigh….

We just kept telling Ethan to play as usual. Told him to have fun, pretend it’s like his drum lesson and most importantly is, no matter what happens during the performance, we are already proud of him :)
