DIY : Christmas Wreath
This Christmas, let’s not splurge on Christmas decor but DIY them instead. I was at The Speakeasy Restaurant & Bar and saw this beautiful Christmas Wreath. Fortunately the owner Soraya is so kind to share with me how she made the wreath. Let’s take a look at how she transforms several Romance Novel into a beautiful wreath.
Romance Novels
Cut leaves, 100s and 100s and 100s of leaves.
Scrunch them up. Make them really crumpled. You can do a whole bunch at a time.
Grab the wider end, and roll it up. This is the bit you need to stick onto the wreath.
Spray Mount the wreath …(by the way you will have to cut out a cardboard circle) and attach the paper leaves and move in one direction.
DONE!
Thank you Soraya for the pictures and tutorial.
Check out my post on their awesome Christmas Eve Dinner preview I had last Saturday here. I’m so in love with their Cod Brandade!
Also check out another of Soraya’s Christmas creation : DIY Soft Glow Lamp.

Colour is too plain, maybe spray some colour on it?
If you are going for a white Xmas then this is good. Otherwise, colored pages will do the trick :D
The wreath look so creative and nice.
Love it! But I think I’ll be a bit ‘sum thong’ to cut out the pages of the book.
cool and beautiful. i so wanted to do your doves but don’t have the time :(
This is very unique and classic. Nice and beautiful. Well done.
wow, that looks like it requires a lot of patience & skill! but yeah, the result is gorgeous! :D
