Origin Hybrid SpinePro Mattress Review

If you know me well, you know I take my sleep very seriously. I make sure I get a minimum of 8 hours of sleep every night. I do my best to have the best sleeping habit ever.

Several factors take into place in order to get a good night’s sleep:

1) Stick to a schedule
Good sleeping habits include maintaining a consistent sleep schedule. I go to bed early and rise early in the morning. I don’t go out or stay out late as I priorities sleeping early.

2) Create a bedtime ritual
Wind down with relaxing activities such as reading, listening to calming music and meditation.

3) Limit caffeine and alcohol
Avoid caffeine and alcohol as these two are often linked to sleep disruption.

4) Exercise regularly
Daily physical activity can improve one’s sleep especially if done in the morning with some morning sun exposure. Morning sun improves sleep by regulating our circadian rhythm which is our body’s internal 24-hour sleep-wake cycle.

5) A good mattress
Sleeping on a good mattress improves sleep by providing proper support for spinal alignment as well as comfort with the right level of firmness and cushioning for our body type.

Speaking about a good mattress, I recently had the chance to try Origin Hybrid SpinePro Mattress, a hybrid model said to combine comfort with spinal support.

I waited excitedly for my mattress to be delivered only to be puzzled by what I saw that day.

I thought I was getting a mattress but is that a bolster? Am I getting a super huge bolster?

Still puzzled but the instruction on the box says to carefully cut open the pressure packaging and the mattress will instantly take place.

And through enough, just like magic, I see this mattress comes to life right before my eyes. Watch this video to see the process:

Just like Goldilocks and the three bears, I sat on this mattress to test it and found it to be a little too soft initially. I proceeded to lay on it and then I feel the difference. While the upper layers provide soft cushioning that hugs the body, the pocket springs underneath offers firm support that adjusts naturally to the body’s contours.

This is why this mattress is called hybrid as it is designed to provide a balanced sleeping surface. It is marketed for its combination of pressure relief from the memory foam and supportive, bouncy comfort from the pocket springs and latex, along with cooling technologies and zoned support.

When I tested it with my youngest son, I noticed my son’s active movement did not transfer to my side much thanks to the mattress’ movement isolation feature. This is great for couples sharing the same bed.

My fear of using foam mattress is they retain heat but this Origin Hybrid SpinePro Mattress stayed cool and comfortable throughout the night, most suitable for our country’s warm weather.

All materials are hypoallergenic and non-toxic, making it suitable for sensitive sleepers.
