Fun and Educational DINOSAUR THEMED family board games
How is the New Normal treating you? For me and the boys, we still spend most of our time at home with the only time we are out is to school and back. Spending endless time at home also means having in hand lots and lots of games to keep us occupied. When I say games, I don’t mean online games but physical games that we can play together as a family.
These are some of our favourite board games from Laurence King Publishing.
We have with us:
1) Dino Domino
2) Spot The Bot
3) Dinosaur Bingo
4) Dog Bingo
5) Mondrian
These games are convenient to bring along anywhere as they come in compact and portable size.
DINO DOMINO
Dino Domino is a tile-based game played with rectangular “domino” cards. This game is for two to four players and contains 28 cute and colourful dino dominoes. The dominoes come in an attractive sliding box with cute, quirky illustrations by Caroline Selmes.
Each domino is a rectangular tile with a line dividing its face into two square ends. Each end has a picture of a dinosaur on it. Based on the traditional game of dominoes, the aim of this game is to get rid of your dominoes first by matching the friendly dinosaurs to the end of the domino.
This interesting Dino Domino game encourages observation skills as we try to match seven prehistoric critters to get our last domino down first to win the game.

DINOSAUR BINGO
The other easy-to-play DINOSAUR themed game that we love playing is DINOSAUR BINGO; a kids edition of the popular adult Bingo game. This is an interesting game for kids who simply love Dinosaurs.
This dinosaur themed bingo game can be played by up to eight people, making it the perfect game for dino crazy children and adults alike.
Dinosaur Bingo contains 48 chips and a cardboard dino head to store them in, a game board, eight double-sided bingo cards and Jurassic counters for you to mark up your card.
The aim of this game is for players to cover all the dinosaurs on their cards. The first player to complete their card and shout ‘DINOSAUR BINGO‘ wins!

Ayden’s reaction when his dinosaurs are not called :D
We get to learn the many dinosaurs’ name on the board. It was tricky trying to pronounce each and every one of them but after many rounds of play, we managed to master it like a pro. This dinosaur bingo game helps improve our observation skills as we carefully monitor our dinosaurs on the bingo card.
Easy to play and packed full of wonderful and majestic creatures, Dinosaur Bingo is engaging and keeps us occupied for hours. This fun and delightful take on a classic game is beautifully illustrated by Caroline Selmes.
