Hotel Equatorial Melaka: Jazzy Sunday Brunch
I was back in Melaka again yesterday. When I am in town (especially on Sundays), I’ll try to drop by Resthouse Café at Hotel Equatorial as I super love their relaxing Jazzy Sunday Brunch.
Stress is the root of countless health problems. The relaxing effect of jazz music has been proven to have amazing healing influence to our health. Jazz music calms our mind and immediately improves our mood. With relaxed and positively boosted mood, food always taste better enabling us to enjoy our meal more.
Hotel Equatorial Melaka brings dining to a whole new level with their Jazzy Sunday Brunch. We get to enjoy great food while being serenaded by live jazz performances.

We were served fruity mocktails during our brunch.
A refreshing and delicious concoction of fruity mocktails, our brunch got off on a healthy start!
Fresh Cut Fruits
Fruits cut fresh before us. Which type of person are you? The type who eats fruits before meals or fruits after meal? I am the former. I eat fruits before my meals and having them freshly cut for me is very much appreciated.
Tempura
At one of the many live stations around, these light and crispy vegetable tempura is such a hit that they disappeared off the shelf as soon as they are fried but thank goodness they are replenished really quickly.
BBQ Station
Meat lovers will love the BBQ station where you’ll get choices of chicken, lamb, beef and sausages among others to be grilled for you. My favourite is their lamb. Full flavored and tender, it is just perfect.
Seafood on ice
Seafood galore excites my senses to multiple levels with their fresh seafood offerings.
Sushi rolls can never go wrong with the boys.
Onion Rings
Crispy coated and golden onion rings with delicious chili dip makes the perfect appetizer.
Teppanyaki Ice-Cream
THIS hand made ice cream dessert made with milk poured on an iced grill, mixed with fruit or sweet toppings on the ice-pan is simply fantastic. Children are not only happy to be able to choose their own ingredients for the ice-cream but they got really excited seeing milk being transformed into a frozen treat right before their eyes.
Local kuih-muih
A variety of local snacks as well as an assortment of pastries are available to satisfy the sweet tooth in you.
Pastry corner
Cendol
Exotic combination of palm sugar syrup, jelly-like pandan noodles, coconut milk, beans and shaved ice to end our fabulous brunch.

I do enjoy a little bit of music with my brunch.
To Melaka, it wouldn’t take too long of a drive right? Good to visit your parents and have a nice holiday in hometown.
Super love mocktsils to start off the buffet. So much to choose from.
I love live music. Did you go on stage and sing a song or two?
I will go and sapu all the prawns on ice! Yummy!
