Best of Malaysia: Seafood Buffet Dinner at Chatz Brasserie
Seafood – the all time favourite of many diners. I’ve not had seafood on ice for a very long time, 10 months to be exact, due to my pregnancy. Pregnant women are not supposed to be eating raw salmon, oysters and more right? Imagine my delight when the foodie gang got the opportunity to dine at Chatz Brasserie, PARKROYAL Kuala Lumpur for their seafood buffet dinner. Ngam, ngam after my confinement so I’m all good to join them!
It is also Ayden’s first outing with the foodies ^_^
Seafood on Ice. Prawns, mussels, oysters, scallops, clams and crab to satisfy my long time craving.
The crowd’s favourite.
The first thing that I dig in is definitely the sashimi. I’ve been craving for this for too long now and today my satisfaction is unlocked :)
The obviously happy Ethan with his seafood platter.
Our favourite that night is easily the live ‘jumping prawns’. We call it jumping prawns because..
We get to catch them live…
And throw them into the hot pot. That’s when you’ll see some jumping or maybe flying action around!
But the end result is superb.
Look how beautiful they are! They are so good they brought out the Gollum in all of us. None of us wanted to share our prawns and insisted to have them all to ourselves!
The Gollum in Ethan is unleashed with these fresh prawns!
At the Grilled Seafood station, a selection of baby pomfret, stingray and live tiger prawns will be grilled to perfection by the chef.
Darling’s ikan bakar.
Other dishes includes:
Siput sedut. I’ve not this for a very long time and it was fun sucking on them that evening.
Lala.
More prawns!
Prawn noodles with more prawns!
After all those glorious seafood, Ethan still insists on having their highly recommended chicken rice. Here he is with his favourite korkor XiangCool.
What caught my attention is the Juice Bar where we get to enjoy unlimited refills of freshly squeezed fruit and vegetable juice. Just take a pick of our choice of fruit(s) and they’ll juice them for us. Just like that!
Unlimited refills of freshly squeezed fruit and vegetables juice of our choice. How cool is that? So worth our money.
While we were all enjoying seafood to the max, how did little Ayden fare on his first foodie outing?
He slept through the entire dinner! LoL! Good also-la as Mommy and Daddy get to enjoy our dinner hassle-free ^_^
