How to remove sticky residues off wall?
I set this room up when Ethan was little. It is filled with cute, colorful and educational wall stickers and posters. That was 5 years ago. Several days ago, Ethan said he has outgrown cute and colorful stuffs. Suddenly I felt my boy has grown so much! He asked if we could reinvent this room. I was stunned for a moment, unsure what to answer him.
After thinking for some time, I agreed. Ethan is no longer a baby and I shall let this room ‘grow’ together with him.
Ethan helped me scrape them off but they won’t totally come off. So susah nih!
I helped too but find it impossible to scrape these sticky residues away.
Finally I resorted to rubbing them using my thumb and sure enough, it works! But guess what? At the end of the day, with only a quarter of the wall done, BOTH my thumbs are suffering from blisters dy.
I don’t know how I’ll be able to remove the rest of the sticky residues on the wall. Any of you have better ideas? Don’t tell me to use oil as it will only make the wall oily that I won’t be able to repaint it later.
Someone told me to use steam iron as the heat and moisture will melt and loosen the glue and soften the sticker but I DON’T have a steam iron! >_<
Thinking of the 3/4 unfinished wall and my blistered thumbs makes me scared dy.
