Covered in poop
I was at my work place as usual today waiting for Darling to send Ethan over after his class in Bao Bei. Right on time Ethan appeared at the glass door. I greeted him with a kiss and a hug and asked him how his day was. He said it was okay and I continued by asking how many times he went to the loo during lessons today. I don’t know why but each time he comes back from class, I’ll surely ask him these three questions, “How is your day?”, “How many times did you go to the loo today?” and “Did you finish your drinking water?”
Do you realise that I never ask him what he learn today? That is because if I asked, he’ll say he doesn’t remember but if I don’t ask, he’ll surely tell me something eventually..
So when I questioned him those 3 questions today, I was expecting some routine answers but to my surprise, he told me, “I passed motion too today” (Yes, he said “passed motion”)
Oh-oh, I did not see THAT coming so I questioned him further, “Who cleaned you up?” and he said, “I pulled my pants down a bit, sat on the bowl, passed motion and pull my pants up again”
I was shocked to hear that! Immediately I told him to remove his pants and to my utter disgust, his bottom is covered in poop! >_<
Quickly I cleaned him up and already he is quite smelly by then… Argh!!!!
ARGH!!!!!!!! I’m SO GONNA SEE THE TEACHERS TOMORROW!!! HOW CAN THEY LEAVE HIM TO GO DO HIS BUSINESS ALONE AND NOT WATCH AFTER HIM?!
BaoBei this is so wrong! Minus point for you guys this time!
oh… yes, this must be brought up to their attention.. meaning that they have not put enough effort to ensure all students are in class.. very danger..
err…sorry for this silly question. does bao bei take care of stuff like that? i thought it's like a learning center only and doesn't play the role of a daycare :)
Barbara,
Any learning centre should not leave little kids to go to the loo alone. They have kids as young as three. You think those kids can clean up after themself? What if they slip and fall and knock their head?
so sorry to hear about this. they should have teachers on standby to assist students when they go to the loo as they are still very young.
I think Ethan didn't tell the teacher that he passed motion. Teacher may just leave the kids to go for loo themselves.
Ok, Ewww!
I agree with Sheoh Yan. Maybe the teachers weren't aware that he pooped. That's just giving them the benefit of the doubt. You should talk to them and clarify the matter. I should also go tell my son now that he MUST tell someone to clean him up after he poops, if I'm not there to do it for him.
Oh no! Covered in poop … I hope he wasn't smelly for long or his friends might start running away! LOL! Have you informed the teachers already? Make sure no second time!
Oh dear, whether is day care centre or kindie, teacher should not let the kids go to the loo themselves…Btw, did Ethan tell the teacher whether he want to go for a big or small motion?
He can say passed motion.. good o..
em..
probably next step is to teach him how to wipe the poo after passing motion. ><
-1 for the centre for being irresponsible
Kindy or pre-school? I knew one student in Form 3 who went to the loo and messed up his pants…and he stayed inside. Nobody knew he was there till his father came to school looking for his son who never came home…. Some teachers really! All the time, he was missing from class and nobody bothered to find out where he was.
OMG!
Oh gosh..what a mess. I always pray Gwen doesn't do her big business at school. I don't know about other 5 year olds lah…Gwen doesn't know how to clean herself up after doing her big business.
the teacher has to pay attention to the children, but don't get too hard on the teacher tmr!
ROFTL… pull the pant down and pull it up…!!! Yeah, the teacher shouldn't leave the kids alone in the loo, darn dangerous…. wht if they play water or fell down…:(
This is the part that I worry the most when my child doing business in school.. worry that no 1 want to clean them up or they try to clean up yet more problem occurs.. example.. poop everywhere… sigh…
Tried thinking back whether my kids had that problem or not.. cannot recall la.. too long already…but i think to be on the safe side, teach our kids to clean off with tissue…yucks.. their hands might end up having poopppss, right? haahaha.. ok ok..tell teacher tomorrow.. maybe they have their explanation..
omg?! how come no one help him to the loo?! so cham one! :(
My boy did that once, came back with some poop stain on his undie. *eewwww* Altho he's edi 5, still dunno how to wipe after big biz. I can't blame his teachers coz he din tell his teacher and the bathroom is the attached type (the children r big enuf to go themselves). So I always remind him to inform teacher if he did his big biz in sch.
