Sea Jacuzzi Sunset Dinner Cruise Langkawi
We were in Langkawi recently during the Deepavali holidays for a much needed family vacation. We did not plan much as all we wanted to do was to chill and relax. The last I went to Langkawi was more than 15 years ago during my courting days with Darling so we do not have much recollection of what Langkawi has to offer.Â
I was browsing Facebook one day looking for information on Langkawi when I came across this community page – Langkawi Sun Sand & Sail. I dropped them a message and the first thing they told me to do was to get the Langkawi Island Pass as soon as I touched down at the airport.Â
The Langkawi Island Pass offers discount vouchers worth RM200 for dining, leisure and rentals in Langkawi. The first discount voucher we utilised was for our car rental for the 4 days we were here as we get RM50 off our bill for every purchase of RM250 and above. If you are at the airport and wish to get hold of this Langkawi Island Pass (or also known as iPass), it is available at Maystar Car Rental (Counter 3). Â
The friendly admin at Langkawi Sun Sand & Sail also encouraged us to go for Langkawi Sunset Cruise. We did not think much about it initially but finally decided to give it a try as they offer something unique that we have yet to experience – SEA JACUZZI.Â
Â
We only made up our mind the evening of the second day we were here but thanks to Langkawi Sun Sand & Sail, they managed to secure a booking for our family of four for the Sunset Cruise the very next day.Â
We had been to a sunset dinner cruise in Bangkok but this is our first time being on a catamaran so we were very excited and looked forward to what’s to come in the next 3 hours.Â
Such tranquility as the sea breeze caresses my face while the orange evening sun fades into a darker shade of blue sky…..
At only RM280/adult, we get:
* free flow of bottled drinking water, juice, cocktails, wine and beer
* sunset BBQ buffet dinner on board
* awesome sea jacuzzi experience
* 3 hours sunset cruise
Yes, the highlight of our sunset cruise is the SALT WATER JACUZZI experience.Â
First thing first, life jackets for us as we are not good swimmers.Â
Once the boys are properly secured in their life jackets, the captain slows down the cruise and we made our way down to the net.Â
Excited, we lined ourselves up on the net in the warm waters of the Andaman Sea. I thought this was it, soaking in the salt water being in motion with the waves while sipping on our cocktails but it gets BETTER!
The captain surprised us by revving up the engine and speeding off; giving us the BEST EXPERIENCE of salt water jacuzzi in natural rippling water! No words can describe that moment when we see the entire stretch of Andaman Sea before us, cradling in the net while the catamaran pulled us along giving us the most awesome sea spa ever!
This is definitely an experience we’ll remember for a lifetime. We did not want it to end but our stomach were growling after that much excitement.
Little Ayden soaking up whatever is left of the sun before dinner is served.Â
Their favourite spot is on the net. These boys are fearless and loves being in motion with the waves. The net maximizes that motion.Â
I on the other hand prefers to sit on solid surface while watching over the boys on the net. Pardon the blurry picture. Big brother Ethan has shaky hands on board the cruise.Â
As the sun started to set, our dinner began to look really good.Â
We had a wonderful spread of BBQ buffet dinner with generous servings of satay, bbq chicken, fish fillets, prawns and more.Â
We can choose to dine inside with the comfort of a table and couch or we can dine outside with the sea breeze.Â
Obviously we chose to dine outside with the sea breeze blowing watching the sun set upon us.Â
Ayden kept himself entertained playing with ice cubes …Â
While big brother Ethan took a nap after that hearty dinner.Â
We are so glad we decided to try this.Â
This is not a sponsored post but I just feel the need to give a shout out to Langkawi Sun Sand & Sail for helping me with our family trip.
Thank you for your recommendation on lodging, car rental, sight seeing and hidden places to eat. We saved a lot on our car rental and meals throughout our 4D/3N here using the Langkawi Island Pass.
If any of you are planning a trip to Langkawi, do give them a buzz at â€+60 12 339 1620‬. Langkawi is unlike 10 years ago. It has improved in so many ways that we may not even know if we don’t seek or ask for ideas.

Love the happy faces, all those smiles! Ayden is the split image of William, Pic 3. Ethan looks like you. The smiles have it…and the eyes too! LOL!!!
15 years?? about the same time as me, I went there with my hubby during courting time too. hahaha!
I would wish to visit Langkawi again, with my children. Bet they would love the cruise.
Love your photos, so sweet. The boys sure enjoy the Jacuzzi.
Langkawi Island Pass sounds like a good deal. Wah, this cruise looks like the lifestyle of the rich and famous!
