Drum with Ayden: 2018 Trinity Rock & Pop Drums Grade 1 New Syllabus

It has been almost 5 months now since Ayden started attending drumming lessons. I shared his videos in this blog as well as on Facebook and received many inquiries from curious moms wanting to start their little kids on drums too. I will continue sharing so you can see his progress and to know what the exam songs are for Trinity Rock & Pop Drums new syllabus.

If you are planning to start your kid on drum lessons, it is important to have a drum set at home so he/she can practice. If you are afraid it will get too noisy, get an electric drum set. You can control the volume on that one.

This is Ayden’s final video for Grade 1. It is called FLOAT ON.

And these are the rest of the songs in Grade 1 with the exception of ONE song – The Weight. Ayden skipped that song to proceed to Grade 2.

  Many parents messaged me asking regarding drum lessons. In their mind, when a child goes for drum lessons, they only learn to make noise. Hahaha.

I always love to see people taking drum lessons instead of piano or guitar. Maybe my heart is like a rocker and drums make me alive & happy! Same goes when I hear drumming & clashings during lion dances. Your son is so talented for his age.

I just watched the coolest video where the Foo Fighters let a young child from the audience go on stage and he played a Metallica song. I was thinking that Ayden would shine doing the same with drums.
