Swiss-Garden International Traditional Mooncakes

We received a pleasant surprise recently when a dear acquaintance delivered a box of mooncakes for my mooncake crazy boys.

We are really blessed to be surrounded by such generous and lovely people.

We were at the playground opposite our house when we got these mooncakes so it was just nice to have a mooncake picnic. 

Conveniently packed with a knife and four little forks (in the box), these mooncakes are good to eat anytime, anywhere. 

What we got in the box are classic all-time favourite mooncakes – Low Sugar White Lotus with Single Yolk, Pandan Delight Lotus, Pure Lotus and Mixed Nuts.

The boys immediately helped themselves to the low sugar white lotus with single yolk mooncake. 

It was simply perfect to be eating mooncakes in the cool evening breeze. The only thing missing are their lanterns.

Both Ethan and Ayden’s favourite among the four mooncakes are the Low Sugar White Lotus with Single Yolk and Pandan Delight Lotus. 

Pandan Delight Lotus easily got all of our votes unanimously with its fragrant and not too sweet paste. 

Signs that I am more mature now as I take delight in savoring this sweet, salty and nutty variety which I was not a fan of when I was younger. I let the boys try it and though they are able to take a slice each, they are not overly fond of it as they prefer the smoother lotus or pandan paste with egg yolk.
