No Lunar New Year reunion meal is complete without “Yee Sang”. Toss to prosperity and good health with Dynasty’s colourful mixture of raw fish or exotic seafood served with crunchy vegetables, crackers and condiments. These raw ingredients signify the renewal of life.
To kick things off, Dynasty Restaurant is offering three (3) types of Deluxe Yee Sang – Salmon, Fruity Fiesta and Jellyfish. From the Premium Yee Sang selection, there is a choice of sea cucumber, abalone and pseudo shark’s fin, Abalone, jellyfish, scallop, salmon & lobster and Mini abalone.
Take-away Yee Sang in “half-serving” and “full serving” can also be arranged for home reunion dinners and special get-togethers. The Deluxe Yee Sang is priced at RM118nett for a half portion and RM228nett for a full portion. As for the Premium Yee Sang, the price is RM188nett for a half portion and RM368nett for a full portion.
Tossing to a great year ahead with better wealth, excellent health and plenty of happiness all year round.
Starting from RM1,788 for a table of 10, diners can look forward to a variety of light and fresh flavors, healthy feasting yet sumptuous dishes along with the mandatory yee sang in Dynasty’s Chinese New Year menus. They are Happiness at RM1788nett, Fortune at RM2188nett and Longevity at RM3388nett per table of ten(10) persons.
Braised Five Treasure Soup with Crab Meat and Sliced Abalone
This flavorful, starchy broth contained generous servings of crab meat, sliced abalone and enoki mushrooms.
Crispy Almond Chicken
The chicken dish is interestingly presented with one side skin and on the other side of the silky smooth, juicy and tender chicken paste is rich and creamy crispy almond slices.
Steamed Live Sea Grouper with Sliced Ginger and Chili
The best way to cook fresh fish is to simply steam it and we loved what was served before us. Chinese style steamed fresh-from-the-tank live fish with special soy sauce; topped with sliced ginger, chili, scallions and cilantro leaves. The chili makes the fish spicy though so it is not quite suitable for children. Do request for the chili to be omitted if you are dining with little kids.
Sauteed Golden Prawns with Pumpkin Cream
We enjoyed these finger licking good sautéed prawns coated in rich, creamy and savoury cream a lot. It is easily the crowd’s favorite that evening.
Fatt choy, a thin hair
Supreme Seafood Golden Fried Rice with X.O. Sauce
XO sauce brings this fried rice to another level. The spicy seafood sauce turns the usually ‘too full too eat anymore’ dish into one appetizing dish that got everyone digging in for more.
Dynasty’s Fortune Pastries
For dessert, we had Nian Gao (Chinese New Year cake) served two ways – fried and steamed. A popular dessert eaten during Chinese New Year as it symbolizes progress, advancement, and growth. I love the fried version of the nian gao here; crispy coat on the outside, and gooey sweetness on the inside.
Besides Yee Sang Set Menus, Dynasty also offers superb Treasure Pots or Poon Choi starting from RM488 for 5 persons.
An impressive 7-course (RM988nett) and 8-course (RM1388nett) Prosperity Treasure Pot Sets for five (5) persons are also available.
Prosperity Treasure Pot with whole sun-dried scallop, fish maw, stuffed dried oyster, fresh scallop, flower mushroom, fu kwei abalone, farm chicken, roasted duck, money bag, sea cucumber, vegetarian roasted meat, vegetable, tiger prawns, fish stomach, coral clam and fungi mushroom.
Look at that fat piece of sea cucumber, my favorite item in the treasure pot ♥
The Double Boiled Sweetened Chrysanthemum Tea with Pear, Red Date & Aloe Vera makes a perfect ending to our sumptuous dinner as aloe vera drink provides relief for people suffering from indigestion. We went home happily with comfortable tummy even after such a heavy meal.
Besides the above, a 6-course and 7-course Double Delight menus for two (2) persons are available and are priced at RM378nett and RM578nett respectively. Groups of six (6) persons are covered with the 9-course Six Happiness Set at RM1188nett.

Prosperity Treasure Pot, I like the name. Anytime nicer than “poon choy”, sounds like something not all that nice in Fuzhou dialect.
I like Prosperity Treasure Pot better too. Sounds very auspicious :D
I haven’t had any yee sang yet ! Still don’t feel any CNY mood!!
How can you not be in CNY mood when all the shopping malls are already playing CNY songs? Haha.
Good to see sharks fin is slowly phasing out from menus everywhere.
Yes, I agree too.
Pseudo shark fins are used instead but to me I don’t mind if they cut out pseudo shark fins out too. I’m happy having seafood soup as it is without any elements of shark in it <3
Wow, how many Yee Sang you had thus far?
This is our 3rd for this year. I thank our lucky stars on how blessed we are to be able to enjoy great moments like these with all these wonderful people <3
I love the freshness of yee sang.
Wish someone bring me for a big CNY “makan”! Haha.
Luxurious food! Ethan and Ayden are amongst the youngest foodies around.
I remember I had similar almond chicken at other restaurant before, it was really delicious!
