Kids Eat for FREE at AGED Restaurant & Bar, SkyAvenue, Resorts World Genting
There is a place up in SkyAvenue where Kids Eat for Free and believe it or not, it is at AGED Restaurant & Bar. I would not have known based from the exterior of the restaurant as the first thing that caught my sight is their extensive range of wines highly visible through their glass walls.Â
A newly established F&B brand serving Western food with its only outlet at SkyAvenue, Resorts World Genting, it opened for business in November, 2017.

Believe you me, KIDS EAT FREE with every accompanying adult dining here from 12noon to 6pm.Â
Kids’ free meal include a main course and ice-cream for dessert.Â

Arkadia Chocolate (MYR 18)
It was raining that day we were up in SkyAvenue Genting and Little Ayden was feeling cold so the first thing we did was to get him this chocolate drink.Â

Ayden loves his beautiful and aromatic chocolate latte.Â

Look at him with his chocolate moustache.Â

Ethan had the same Chocolate beverage while I had Cappucino.

Yuri Matcha (MYR 16)
The Daddy on the other hand had this satisfying Yuri Matcha latte, a velvety artisan matcha from Uji, Kyoto.Â
Back to Kids Eat for FREE. There are 3 main courses to choose from – Steak and Fries, Chicken and Mashed potato and Fish and Wedges. Â

The boys picked Chicken and Mashed potato and Fish and Wedges.Â

Halibut with firm white flesh, wedges and romaine lettuce.

For the chicken dish, they get the healthy breast part served with mushroom sauce, mashed potato and grilled romaine.Â

They are entitled to an ice-cream served on a bed of cookie crumble each but we requested for one only as it was a very cold evening that day.Â
As for us adults, we were here courtesy of the kind PR team from RWG. We were introduced to a number of their bestsellers here.Â
APPETISER

For appetiser, we had Caesar Salad (MYR 32)
A salad of romaine lettuce and croutons. What makes it special is the addition of Iberico ham 24 months and cured yolk into this salad.Â

Foie Gras (MYR 78)
Smooth foie gras with caramelised exterior served with apple raisins, choc balsamic sauce, balsamic pearl and lime jelly.Â
MAIN COURSE

Chicken Breast (MYR 66)
We had chicken breast served with mushroom sauce just like the boys for their kids’ meal. The difference is ours is served with polenta; the Italian corn porridge, apricot and honey carrot puree. We were also wowed with the slice of crispy chicken skin placed on the top of the dish. Never in our mind can we guess correctly it is actually a chicken skin!
While I am not usually a fan of chicken breast for often being too dry, I am impressed the ones here are still moist and tender.Â

Pork Rack (MYR 76)
Tender and juicy pork rack served with pineapple salsa, honey carrot puree and avocado topped with appetizing lemon foam.Â

Escargot (MYR 56)
While we were singing praises for all the above dishes, we were not too impressed with their escargot risotto. I prefer tender and juicy escargot with clean woodsy flavor; preferably served in their shells but the ones here are a bit too chewy for our liking.Â

Salmon (MYR 76)
The salmon is totally recommended. Juicy salmon prepared over low temperatures served with garlic and olive oil, topped with squid ink couscous, ikura and sago cracker.Â

Tomahawk (MYR 350/ kg)
AGED Restaurant & Bar pride themselves as serving only the best steak. They don’t serve pre-cooked steak. They take their time to prepare and cook the steak at the right temperature so that it retains the tenderness, juiciness and flavor of the meat.Â
Their meat is AGED for 20 days for increased tenderness and enhance of flavor.Â

Juicy and succulent Australian Angus that is worth every minute spent waiting for it to be cooked.Â
DESSERT

Crème Caramel (MYR 32) with Kogiku Flower and Balsamic Pearl

Lemon Tart (MYR 32) meringue and Jackfruit Ice Cream that is simply out of this world.Â
Besides serving Western dishes and being kids friendly, AGED is also a bar.Â
A cosy place to chill with a drink

From Left to Right:
Gentlemen Black (MYR 30)
Gin, Bamboo Charcoal, Lime
Butterfly (MYR 27)
Gin, Butterfly Pea, Blueberry
Northern Lights (MYR 30)
Gin, Cucumber
Blue Lady (MYR 27)
Vodka, Lychee, Lemon

At AGED, it is Ladies’ Night every Wednesday from 6.30pm when Cocktails go 1-for-1 so if you are looking for a place to chill with a drink 6000 feet above sea level, this is the place to be.
Otherwise if you are here with your family, do dine from 12noon to 6pm and take advantage of their Kids Eat for FREE promo.Â
What about the AGED? Elderly people like me eat free and get to take home too? I’ll have the creme caramel and the lemon tart, please! RM32 EACH??? *faints*
Haha faint
My first time see steak in a kid’s menu :P
Ayden is so happy! Those with children must quickly bring them to eat here.
