New Rooms at Renaissance Kuala Lumpur Hotel
Understanding the need to stay relevant in the market place, Renaissance Kuala Lumpur Hotel unveiled its first batch of completely restyled West Wing guest rooms. The new rooms showcase a fresh and contemporary design – sophisticated, tasteful and sleek, reflecting the key personalities of a Renaissance Discoverer who celebrates all things that contribute to living a life less ordinary.
We were privileged to be invited to experience the new Deluxe Suite @ West Wing recently. It comes with the magnificent view of the majestic KL Tower.
Before I proceed further, here is a video of the room and the hotel we took during our stay:

THE POOL
We spent a considerable amount of time in the pool here at Renaissance Kuala Lumpur Hotel.
Located on Level 4, it features an Olympic sized pool and a wading pool.
Guests can also chill, drink and dine by the pool (or in the pool).
The boys having fun in the wading pool.
One unique feature here in the pool is the availability of aqua exercise equipment.
Exercising in water builds cardiovascular stamina, strength, and flexibility, helps burn more body fat due to the resistance, increases circulation and can help in healing muscles and joints. The major benefit to exercising in the water is the protection it offers to our joints.
We had a great time working out in water and felt reluctant to leave.
I am impressed with their Fitness Center.
It has a sizeable gym so we can work out comfortably.

The 2-storey spa is located at the East Wing, next to the Fitness Center and easily accessible through the swimming pool level.
Their Spa Menu offers a range of treatments incorporating the wisdom of ancient cultures with the latest Spa science from Elemis spa-therapies.
The Spa features double and single Deluxe Spa Suites with en-suite bath and steam shower for the ultimate Spa journey; whilst other treatment rooms offer steam shower or shower only facilities.
I was treated to an hour of rejuvenation here at Mandara Spa.

MEALS
We also celebrated Father’s Day during our stay here. We dined at the award-winning Dynasty Restaurant and feasted to their Parent’s Day Set Menu.
DYNASTY RESTAURANT at Renaissance Kuala Lumpur Hotel that used to serve non-halal delicacies has recently been converted into a Pork-Free restaurant. It is now serving delectable pork-free and Muslim friendly Chinese dishes with emphasis on Cantonese cuisine creatively put together by award-winning Executive Sous Chef Kok Chee Kin.

Overall, we had a great staycation experience here at the new West Wing room.
We became tourists in our own city and took a short drive in the evening to Petronas Twin Towers which is just a stone’s throw from the hotel.
The boys enjoyed the Light & Sound Musical Fountain show here at KLCC.
The next morning, we made a quick drive to Menara Kuala Lumpur which is also a stone’s throw away from the hotel.
The boys enjoying the view of Petronas Twin Towers from the telescope in KL Tower.
We had a great time exploring KL as the location of the hotel is simply superb; being in the heart of the Golden Triangle, it is easily accessible to popular tourist attractions.
Nothing beats having the gorgeous KL Tower greeting us first thing in the morning.
And seeing it dance in colourful lights at night.
Renaissance Kuala Lumpur Hotel is certainly keeping up with the times. The renovation, which is the Hotel’s largest to date, is to keep it current, appealing and fresh to retain their competitive edge.
We are obviously impressed with their stunning transformation and will definitely recommend it to travelers be it for business or pleasure who is looking for a place to stay in the heart of KL’s Golden Triangle.
Stayed there once, nice place. It’s the hotel for Emirates’ cabin crew on their night stops in KL. Wahhhh!!!! You sitting at the table reading, relaxing and drinking coffee, looking just like the wife of some big boss. Ahhhh!!! I see your huge bag loaded with gold bars! :D
Lucky you to stay in such beautiful hotel. I never stay there before.
Very detailed writeup. Hope overseas business visitors will be impressed by the new rooms and choose this hotel.
