With Chinese New Year around the corner, tradition dictates that people gift friends and family with hampers to show their appreciation for one another.

This year, we came across something we have never seen before – CNY Durian Goodies Hamper with an actual Musang King durian in it :lol:

The DKING CNY Durian Goodies Hamper is specially designed in a manner where the Musang King can be easily removed without unwrapping the rest of the hamper, so you can enjoy it immediately.

We have mixed reactions on this. Do you think placing a real durian in a hamper is a good idea? Some of the older folks forbid it vehemently saying that it’s a no-no to give anything sharp during CNY.

Sure, why not? But i don’t think drinking wine with durian is a good idea, bad for the health i heard

  Don’t drink wine with durian lah. This one comes with Mangosteen Juice so you can pair the King of Fruit with the juice of its Queen :D

is it the season for durians? how long has the musang king been harvested?

  According to them, the Musang King will be the fresh and not overnight ones. The hamper is designed in such a way that the durian can be placed only upon delivery and taken out easily too.
