Feeling Appreciated

Last December, we received a lovely Christmas Fruit Cake from Dorsett Grand Subang.

It is always nice to receive anything in a cake box as I super love cakes and cookies.

This Ayden just can’t wait till we get home and insisted to open it there and then but I managed to bring him a little further from the crowd before letting him open the cake box :D

We spent the entire December eating this rich fruitcake and became almost as round as a snowman.

I still have not shed the extra kgs I gained in December from all the festive feasting when I got a call from Seri Pacific Kuala Lumpur last week to meet up.

Meet up we did and surprise, surprise, I got this!

A cake and a hamper with a personal CNY greeting card.

It is super nice of them to actually acknowledge William too as without him I won’t be able to go anywhere. He is my driver and babysitter whenever I have to attend any events.

And this is the cake. I thought it was a book or something initially. Only when I tried to turn the pages that I realised it is a cake. LoL.

And this is the hamper. Guess what? I saw my favourite PINEAPPLE TARTS in there! I saw cookies too! My favourite lah. I’m always munching on nuts and cookies especially when I’m in front of my PC, blogging.

So thank you Seri Pacific Kuala Lumpur and also a belated thank you to Dorsett Grand Subang for the thoughtful festive gifts. It is nice to feel appreciated every once in a while :)

Nice! I like the look of the fruit cake – not just a fruit cake but with frosting on top. :)

I immedietely recognized the M&S biscuits in the hamper. I get their digestives to eat too, quite nice. Haha.

Oh, I just relooked at your photo and realized the book is a cake. I read the words but it didn’t register coz the photo looks like a card cover and then I realized the middle is cake! That’s awesome! It’s the most interesting CNY gift I’ve ever seen. What flavor is the cake? It’s nice and flat, very creative.
