Coconut Shake @ Batu Berendam, Melaka
During our last trip back to Malacca, I requested my parents to bring us out jalan-jalan. Sekali-sekala jadi tourists pulak shiok jugak. I wanted to try the famous Aunty Koh cendol but you know lah, if the planets are not aligned and the stars are not in your favour, you won’t be able to buy it before they run out. Bleh..
So we decided on coconut shake instead. I’ve tried the original coconut shake in Klebang so this time my parents lead us to the one in Batu Berendam.
You know you are at the right place when all you see are coconuts and more coconuts.
MORE coconuts! Imagine how hard the poor monkeys have to work to pluck these many coconuts!
The line moves very fast here. As soon as you placed your order, before you can even keep the change back into your purse, your coconut shake is already ready so with one hand full of loose change and another hand carrying Ayden and your camera phone, you have to litterally hang your drinks on your neck!
The coconut shake with ice-cream here comes with chocolate rice sprinkled on it. The boys love it lah as that means extra sweetness for them.
It was Ayden’s first time having coconut shake. He has not try the one in Klebang coz that time he was not born yet. He enjoyed the ice-cream and chocolate rice a lot. Same as me, I don’t like coconut shake without ice-cream. I only like it with ice-cream added.Â
Come to Sibu to try the durian shake and the durian ice cream…and lots lots more – in my blogpost tomorrow.
oh dear oh dear. You are making my heart palpitate so quickly now at the thought of durian shake and ice cream! Yums!
The coconut shake looks good and very refreshing. Good to take on hot day!!
My Jamie also loves anything cold.
For some unknown reason (to me), Malacca is always super hot. Thank goodness for coconut shakes! Haha.
I oso want!!! ;)
Next round I tapau for you :P
very refreshing coconut shakes..what more with ice cream, the kids will definitely like it.
They do have without the ice cream version but I don’t quite like that. The ice cream is definitely a must :D
wah.. coconut shake!! hot weather like this ah, i see the photo only also i feel refreshed and cool lor, hahahaha.. but can ask them not to put the chocolate rice ah?? me uncle mah, don’t like that, hahaha!!
Should be can. I did not even know they added chocolate rice in it until I opened Ayden’s and then I checked the rest and sure enough, all 5 that we bought contained chocolate rice .
Klebang … I been there before! Lots of beaches and resorts though not very nice compared to the east coast seasides.
I also want to try this coconut shake. In SG, very hard to try all these!
The next time you are going to Klebang, bring Hern Hern to the submarine museum. It’s not always we get to see, touch and enter a real submarine :)
Looking at Ayden’s slurping face makes me wanna have one too! :D
I wonder how the coconut shake will taste like without the ice cream. Ayden looks to be enjoying the drink very much!
I think no kid can resist this, hehe ^__^
