He Ain’t Heavy, He’s My Brother
We had a busy Saturday. Ethan had his Taekwondo taegeuk 4 grading so he had to be in school by 9am. Darling went with Ethan while Ayden and I remained sleeping at home. After taekwondo, Ethan had robotics. While he was in robotic class, Darling came home to pick me and Ayden before fetching Ethan again from school. Immediately after that Darling had an appointment but instead of sending us home, he decided to bring us along to pick up the person he was supposed to meet, drive to a site, continued their discussion in our car before driving her back to her car.
It was Saturday evening. Office is already close so the car became the next best place.
While Darling was deep in discussion, the boys entertained themselves by monkeying around. I love these pictures I took of them with my phone.
Ayden adores big brother Ethan and I know the feeling is mutual.
Just look at them.
Their expression says it all.
Super love this picture.
Ayden squeezing big bro’s cheek.
And planted a big kiss on his sweaty big brother.
My heart melted seeing these two. After having Ethan, I used to cry thinking why can’t I have another child but miracle happened and we were blessed with Ayden. People always ask me why such big gap between them. I just smile and say, “The timing couldn’t be more perfect”.
I am not the best mother around but I must have done something right to deserve these two heroes with the Daddy bundled into the package as well <3
