Caffé Crema Coffee & Tea Place, Plaza Mont Kiara
We were in Mont Kiara today for Ethan’s haircut at Number 76 and as usual I took that golden opportunity to get my hair treated but I will talk about that another day in another post :) Just next to it is this boutique coffee and tea place:
Caffé Crema
E01-02, Plaza Mont Kiara,
Block E, 2 Jalan Kiara,
Mont Kiara,
KUALA LUMPUR
Ayden kept coming in here while Ethan was having his haircut. I guess he was hungry and this place does look very inviting with its raw furnishings. Immediately after Ethan and I are done with our hair, we hopped in here for a quick bite.
Modern recycled wood fixtures gives this cafe that warm and cosy feel.
Menu on the wooden wall for easy reference.
The kids wasted no time in placing their orders. That Nutella Mille Crepe is calling out to them.
And these cheesecakes are calling out to ME, the cheesecake monster.
Without further adieu, these are what we had:
Hot Chocolate (RM12) for Ethan.
Do you know hot chocolate (or hot cocoa) was used medicinally to treat ailments such as liver and stomach diseases back in the old days? That is why drinking chocolate is good for us especially a good cup of hot chocolate that is not so sweet and rich with thick consistency like the ones here.
For a change, I had Latte (RM10).
I am not so much a coffee drinker but I read somewhere that a cup or two is good for our hearts so here I am, pampering my heart after I pampered my hair :) I love the smoothness of the latte here at Caffé Crema. I can imagine me getting hooked to this very soon.
Darling had the Earl Grey (RM10.90) from their Organic Tea selections.
It comes with a timer that is set to 5 minutes.
As soon as the time is up we can remove that triangular thing (tea holder) and start drinking. What I love about Earl Grey tea is the distinctive citrus flavor and aroma.
Ethan had this blueberry mille crepe (RM13.90) but he also wanted the Nutella mille crepe.
We ended up sharing this Nutella mille crepe (RM13.90) as the boys can’t decide to order the blueberry or the Nutella so we ordered both.
I ordered this Durian Cheesecake (RM12.50) happily knowing that Ethan won’t touch it as he doesn’t eat durians but ended up having to share it with Ayden instead as that little boy loves it lots!
Just look at Ethan enjoying his blueberry mille crepe and hot chocolate after his haircut.
And Ayden giving his version of ‘thumbs up’ after eating MY durian cheesecake.
Kids these days.. -.-
So many of these cafes sprouting out everywhere here too – like mushroom after the rain. Nope, not into these…plus they’re not cheap either. :(
Well done on your attempt for a cafe latte. Next time go for something stronger…you will love it. So many cakes there…it sure blends well with the latte! :)
Ayden is a true blue foodie – knows how to enjoy durian cheesecake. Yes! :D
Like the presentation of the food here, very photogenic :)
A good place to indulge and unwind. :)
I was there yesterday! Totally regret not giving the cakes a go now.. LOL. Next haircut day! (;
