The Shepherdoo’s Valentine’s Day Menu
We were at The Shepherdoo Restaurant & Lounge recently to try out their Valentine’s Day menu. Valentine’s Day falls on the 14th February this year (and every year) if you really don’t know.
The Shepherdoo Restaurant & Lounge, Sky Park @ One City
Priced at RM168/per couple, we were served the following:
Starter (2 sets)
Smoked Duck Breast Salad with Caramelized Citrus Dressing
We started our Valentine’s meal with this tangy, simple yet refreshing salad that gives an amazing punch.Â
Soup (2 sets)
Carrot-Orange Seafood Clear Soup
This is such a sexy dish. A velvety smooth and tasty soup that will hit the right notes with citrus lovers. A good start to a romantic meal ahead.Â
Main Course (Select 2)
For the main course, we are to select TWO from the 3 choices given. The three choices are:
Orange-Lemon Chicken Confit Accompanied with Melon Delight
Poached Norweign Salmon Coupled with Orange Zesty Mashed Juber
Red Wine-Orange Skin Braised Angus Beef Short-Rib
We chose chicken and beef. Though I love fish especially salmon, I like it best raw, smoked or maybe seared. Poached salmon is just not my kind of thing.Â
The tender succulent braised angus beef on the other hand is excellent stuff. Meltingly tender, it falls off the bone and melts in my mouth. A classic must-have on a romantic night out.
Dessert
To end our meal, we have this beautiful dessert to share.Â
Blood-Orange Panna Cotta
Bursting with vibrant citrus flavor, the blood orange gave the dessert a beautiful shade of pink. It’s the ultimate palate cleanser and a wonderful end to our romantic meal.Â
By the way, we were not alone. We were on a double date.Â
Here is the other Valentine couple…
Ethan and SamanthaÂ
Darling and I were merely chaperoning them :P
You may want to call them at +6018-6568828 and make advance reservation to cut down on the waiting time.
They made a very cute Valentine couple. Haha. Your future daughter-in-law.
Lovely dinner set. I would go for the chicken thigh while hub definitely go for beef for the main course. ^^
One look at the price… *faints* “Nuf said.
Wah, so fast the valentine’s set menus are all out now.
Every dish looks so fruity and sweet. Particularly like the chicken confit. Happy Valentine’s Day to the big couple and small couple.hahaha
I guess I really need to make a trip to Sky Park @ One City! Seems like a lotta cool eateries are there.
