When we were in Berjaya Times Square a couple of weeks ago, we did not know what to eat. Then we saw this:

People queuing at Takio Ikayaki kiosk. Should be good? Otherwise why would they queue and wait right? 

I also remember having this 20% discount voucher in my bag so we went closer to the kiosk. 

Then we took a peek and saw this:

Oh man! She’s cutting giant squid! My weakness! I told Darling we are eating here, no argument about that. 

I think they have like 5 items on their menu and if I’m not mistaken, we ordered all of them. Let’s see.

We had this Golden Squid Head (RM6.50 each). It is the Biggest squid head in the sea according to their menu. 

And we also had this Deep Fried 25cm Squid (RM8.50)

Look at that giant squid! I’ve never eaten a squid that big in its entire form la until that day. Usually the ones I ate are already cut into smaller pieces that I am not even aware how big they actually are. Ooh la la…

Darling saw this BBQ Lazy Shrimp (RM5.90) and said we must try this coz we were curious on the word ‘lazy shrimp’. It is said that it is called ‘lazy shrimp’ because this is a shrimp that can be eaten with the shell, like soft shell crab. So the lazy us ordered this and bit the head off. Tried to chew and swallow it but I can’t. I don’t know if the head is included as the lazy part or not lah but I ended up not eating the head. Then I tried eating the shrimp with the shell but again I find it weird to swallow the shell that I ended up removing them before eating. 

After that lazy shrimp attempt, we decided to try their Thai Style Soft Shell Crab (RM12.90) and thank goodness this is ok. Just like other soft shell crab, we eat this entirely leaving nothing behind except the plate. 

Oh, we did not let Ethan eat much of all those deep fried stuffs because he was having a sore-throat so we ordered Ikameshi for him.

This Squid Stuffed with Rice (RM8.90) is so cute, it looked like a whale. We ordered two; one with sauce and another without.

After eating all those fried stuffs, we ordered Ice Lemon Tea for all of us to quench our thirst, including Ayden!
