‘Seafood Plates of Pleasures’ @ Chatz Brasserie
I remember over a year ago, exactly a day after my confinement ends, Darling brought me to eat all seafood I can at PARKROYAL KL’s Seafood Buffet Dinner. It was also Ayden’s maiden debut to the outside world.
Fast forward to present, we were back at Chatz Brasserie, PARKROYAL KL for a fresh take on their seafood buffet dinner and that is what I would like to highlight in today’s post. This time, while dining to their ‘seafood buffet dinner’, we are also able to order ‘Seafood Plates of Pleasure’ with the mud crabs which are back by popular demand. Cooked in six signature flavours; Kam Heong Crab, Butter Meat Crab, Wok-fried Meat Crab with Salted Egg, Wok-fried Chili Meat Crab, Wok-fried Crab in Marmite Sauce and Sweet and Sour Meat Crab.
It is priced at RM78 nett for one crab, RM138 nett for two crabs and RM268 nett for four crabs.

If you prefer fish (like me), steamed grouper or sea bass cooked in Superior Shoyu Sauce, Sichuan Taupan Sauce or Garlic Sauce is available at RM78 nett per fish.

Also available for ala carte orders is the Braised Sea Cucumber in Sichuan Style.
Braised Sea Cucumber in Sichuan Style. For this dish, it can be prepared for two to four persons at RM108 nett or for a bigger group of five to eight persons at RM158 nett. I had many helpings of this sea cucumber dish as it is super rich in collagen ^_^

Well, the ala carte is just an additional option. You can still enjoy and be satisfied from their endless variety of marine harvest namely oysters, fresh sashimi and sushi, grilled seafood ranging from stingray, pomfret and parrot fish, poached prawns, clams, shellfish such as black mussel and slipper lobster.
I’ve posted similar pictures of those in my post last year. You can read about it here.
Omelette with generous or chein from the ala minute counter.
Not to be missed is their Prawn Noodles here. Darling added some sambal prawns in it for the extra oomph :D
Ayden had a very rich porridge that evening. He had slipper lobster porridge from the buffet spread.

Talking about apple, another factor that makes us keep coming back to Chatz Brasserie is their free-flow of fresh fruit juice.
All you need to do is pick the fruits of your preference, place them in a basket and send them over to the counter for juicing.
This is my mango and grapes juice combo.
These are red apple and a bunchful of grapes.
A variety of juices here, from mangoes to apples, to grapes and watermelon.
Those are all my glasses mind you. Darling had mango, starfruit and I’m not too sure what else as he sent them for juicing himself.
Besides feasting on bountiful supply of seafood, we were actually there that evening to celebrate Sidney’s birthday.
It was a night of great food with awesome company. The ‘Seafood Buffet Dinner’ is available on Friday and Saturday from 6.30pm to 10.30pm, priced at RM128 nett per person. Special savings apply for selected bank cardmembers.

Looks at crab prices…*faints*
Oh? Your friend’s birthday treat. Hmmmmm,,,…like that ok lah. Next time you treat me to makan here, also ok. Hehehehehe!!!!!
Oh no, Arthur fainted! *fan fan*
My birthday coming sooner than yours, so you treat me first? :P
So the buffet does not cover those crabs and fish? If they do then I will rush over on my next trip home! And I wonder what Superior Shoyu means, how superior are they :D
Yes you are correct. The buffet does not cover those crabs, fish and sea cucumber. They are ala carte dishes. Superior Shoyu means they are more superior than normal shoyu sauce. Hahahahahahahaha! >_<
Looks like everyone including the children are very satisfied with the seafood plates of pleasures at chatz brasserie. Too bad I can’t eat at buffets now adays, too much food. If I eat just a little, not worth paying for the high price.
wow…look at the varieties of crabs and so much food …you sure you eat a lot ?? :P
I think I read that post of yours a year ago. I am drooling now!
Ayden must be well-fed that day with the luxury slipper lobster porridge :)
