We had a great time last year joining our Muslim friends breaking fast with celebrity chef Jaafar Onn and songstress Haiza at Dorsett Grand Subang. In case you missed it, you may refer to my post here.

This year, to our delight, this fabulous duo teamed up again to brighten up our evening. Chef Jaafar Onn has his own action station and together with Haiza, they serenade diners with classic Malay hits.

If last year Ayden was in my womb being serenaded by Jaafar Onn and Haiza, this year, my baby got to enjoy the action LIVE! :D

The tender roasted lamb flies off the shelf very quickly.

There’s a wide range of appetizers such as Kerabu Mangga, Kerabu Daging Ala Thai, Jeruk Betik, Jeruk Mangga and many more. The diners’ favourite ulam-ulaman with sambal belacan dip makes a return this year.

The Ramadan feast continues with an extensive list of Tradition infused dishes made in the spirit of Ramadhan, such as Briyani Gam, Fried Mee Hoon Siam, Rendang Ayam Kampung, Rusuk Kambing Vindalo, Roasted Beef with Mushroom Sauce, Chili Crab and many more.

The crab was one of the favorites amongst diners that evening. 

Apart from that, there are also ten live stalls with different cuisines and styles set to offer more choices like the Noodle Stall, Japanese Stall, Pasta, Chicken Rice, Roasted Lamb with Lebanese Rice, Penang Char Kway Teow, Roti John and Dessert Special.

To end our colourful culinary pilgrimage, there are different types of desserts namely Bread Pudding, Badak Berendam, Onde-onde, Bubur Pulut Hitam, Pengat Keledek and assorted Fruit Jellies.

Ethan with some of the mouth-watering dishes specially prepared for breaking of fast. 

Daily promotional buffets run from 6.00pm to 9.30pm.
