Homemade Soap activity for Kids
Last weekend we went jalan-jalan in 1U and stumbled upon a soap making activity for kids. They have actually come to the end of the session but we were not aware of it. Ethan went there and asked if he can try making one of those soap candy balls. Luckily the person in charge was very nice and let Ethan have a try.
Homemade Sugar Scrub Candy Balls. So yummy looking I feel like eating them!
To make a sugar scrub candy ball soap is extremely easy. All we need is a soap bar and some sugar scrub. Here is a homemade lemongrass soap bar.
Next step is to grate the soap bar. Now it looks like grated cheese! OMG! I super duper LOVE cheese! OM NOM NOM!
Blue colored sugar scrub.

Since they are already at the end of their session, the person in charge had to run back to take care of her stall so she was unable to guide us. No problem I told her coz I kinda know how to do this. I taught Ethan to squeeze those grated cheese soap into a ball. He kept squeezing until become dunno what. I made one ball and passed to him to squeeze somemore until all broke >_<
Nevermind, try again. He squeezed until become telor. Kenot one. He can’t squeeze them bulat-bulat. Oval is the best he can do so I helped him a little.
Ethan and I
What the heck? Why I have no EYES wan?! Like that one la that Darling do work. Take photo also not complete… But can’t blame him also, he was carrying Ayden while taking this pic. It’s good enough it wasn’t blurry :)
Once we’ve managed to form a ball out of the grated soap, Ethan coated it with the sugar scrub.
Coating the soap is easy peasy. He did two.
He placed them into a cupcake holder and brought them home. The person in charge said Ethan is the first boy who did this Sugar Scrub Candy so she gave him another ball to bring home.
All together he brought home 3 bijiks worth RM10 and gave them to me on Mother’s Day. I don’t even know what to do with them. How do we use these sugar scrub anyway?
By the way, why did I say ‘homemade’? Coz the sales girl told me that all their soaps are homemade. So, yeah…
The sugar scrubs really look delicious. hahaha……
This was really fun! So sweet of the girl to let Ethan played with them.
My son said it look so yummy. What are you going to do with it? Bath n use it as scrub?
