Teething toy vs fingers

Recently, Ayden always bite his lips and also suck his fingers.

He’ll either bite or suck his lips. Am puzzled why is it so as Ethan doesn’t go through this stage. I posted the above picture on my FB and most of my friends said he might be teething with itchy gums except for one who cheekily said he’s like that because he wants my boobs (Joanna you know it’s YOU! :P)

Anyway, we bought a teething toy for him the other day but he doesn’t know what to do with it.

Ethan ‘fed’ him the toy, letting him bite on it.

We were so glad to finally see him biting on his teething toy. At least now he wont be biting his fingers….

But I spoke too soon. He still prefers his fingers to his teething toy >_<

In the end, the teething toy stays in the fridge while Ayden’s fingers stays in his mouth! @_@

I think some mommies let their kids to wear hand gloves right? to prevent them from scratching themselves lol

ayden too old for gloves already. it’s okay. remember to cut his tiny finger nail to prevent him accidentally scratch himself

Mine also the same. Very itchy, keep sucking his finger and what ever he can grab on.

The comic strip is very funny! Baby sucks for comfort. Fingers definitely taste better because got his saliva ma. haha
