Silver Cross to the rescue!
“Mommy says she cant carry me too much already, her arms hurt so she pushes me around in the house in my chick-magnet
four eight-wheeler red Silver Cross Pop stroller. But can somebody tell Mommy that chicks no longer find Mickey Mouse attractive? Girls love ‘bad’ guys these days mommy.. No more cute stuffs for me!” – Ayden Yeow
Yeah so that’s what I do these days. At over 6kg, I can’t be carrying him all the time. My shoulder feels like they are collapsing on me! Thankfully Ayden loves this stroller and doesn’t mind lying in there for a long period of time. In fact, he loves it so much that he takes his nap there. He doesn’t want to nap in the cot anymore…
This is what happens if I make him nap in the cot:
Barely 5 minutes and he’ll wake up crying for attention so he always ended up napping in his wheels as I can just push him around until he is sound asleep.
We have two strollers actually but I prefer this Silver Cross Pop stroller because it is lightweight (about 7 kg only, thanks to its aluminium frame) I can handle it easily. Unlike Ayden’s other stroller, this can recline up to lying down position so he can sleep comfortably. It also has a silent seat recline so I can adjust his seat silently while he is sleeping and not jolt him awake.
The hood is detachable. I don’t use it at home but when we go out we’ll definitely use it as it comes with a UPF50+ sun protection. It also comes with a rain cover but I’ve not used it yet as I don’t usually push him around in the rain!
We almost needed to use the rain cover a couple of weeks ago as it was drizzling but the drizzle stopped just as Darling went to get it.
The next time you come to my house and see Ayden sleeping in the stroller or me pushing him around in it, don’t call me weird. It’s just that it’s easier this way. Moreover, Ayden loves it alot! ^_^
