School holiday programme: Sushi bento making for kids
The school holidays is here and that means parents (mostly urban families) signing their kids up for various holiday programmes available to keep their kids occupied. As for us, we did not sign Ethan up for anything except this bento making workshop organised by BaoBei. Though he attended a similar workshop last year (read about it here) he is still keen to attend it this year as he enjoyed it a lot.
Last year Darling and I joined him for the workshop but this year Darling went with him alone without me as I stayed home with Ayden.
The basic necessity – gloves and hair cap.
He did those bentos. So cute!
The salmon bento is super cute. The frog too <3
Enjoying his lunch after the workshop.Â
Ethan and froggie mascot.
He had a great time. I’m kinda sad that I missed this but well…Â
Nice bento making workshop. The salmon & frog are really cute.
His work is so neat. I did not sign up for any programme for Gwen either.
Yes, this year’s creation is much better compared to last year’s. But last year he made a car out of that tofu sushi.
I really dislike the Sakae sushi’s kids meal. They are all fried stuffs despite the cute looking shapes and presentations. But this workshop is definitely cool for the little ones.
Yeah totally agree with you. That is why we seldom or rarely allows Ethan to have that.
So cute!! I mean both Ethan and his bentos :D
yieeerrrr, the salmon and froggie so cute!! and Ethan did those?? so neatly and so nicely done wei~~ i feel so ashamed of myself now, hahahaha!! :D
Ooooo….my girl would love that green frog!
I think i’ve seen this workshop advertisement in Penang before, wonder if i can still join :P
Glad that Ethan enjoyed this! Must make full use of the holidays huh? ;)
Yay! Arigato to Ethan. lol
Sushi making. That is a good kid’s activity.
We mums always need to keep the kids busy and active during school holidays. haha.
