Sometimes We Forget
Since the arrival of Ayden, I am reminded of everyday little things that we are so used to that we took them for granted. One such example is switching on the lights when the little one is sleeping. We are so used to turn on the lights in the middle of the night to check on Ethan (though he hates it when he was younger but got used to it as he grows older) that I’m doing the same with Ayden but it seems that he does not appreciate the sudden brightness in his eyes.
The sudden brightness hurts his still sensitive eyes I guess..
Because of that I bought a light bulb and placed it on the floor just in case I need some light at night (during feeding or nappy change) and this way, it won’t hurt his eyes at all :)
Tsk tsk tsk, poor baby, i’ll be yelling vulgarities to whoever does that to me :p
Haha Ken! U shud wear shades to bed :P
Haha I know what you mean, but because I can’t tolerate lights during sleep, so I just on the dim light…
I have dim lights too but sometimes I switched on the bright light to spot mozzies
Oh so kesian baby Ayden! :( so cute la the way he sleeping but luckily u got that light. :D
I used a flashlight! So scared I would wake my girl up – she would cry so loudly and bring the roof down! Tsk! Tsk!
Lol Arthur! U put microfon in Melissa’s crib eh? :D
Night light is helpful. I always have a night light for night feeding and like you said may not annoy your kids when you switch on the ceiling light in middle of night. :) My 2 elder kids are getting used to no night light since moved here more than 2 months ago and some more no more night feeding for them.
Ethan also no more night feeding but now have to start all over again with Ayden ^_^
DOn’t talk about Ayden, I also cannot stand bright light when I am sleeping!!! :D
Pandas have super sensitive eyes too! :P
Wah your light bulb not covered one ah. Mine is just a small night light that I use at my parents house. We turn on the night lamp (yellow light) with adjustable brightness when back home.
