Shell Select Doraemon & Friends Collection

I guess it’s safe to say that the McD Minion craze is over and done with? Darn those kiasu people, now Ethan can’t just purchase any McD toy without buying the Happy Meal set anymore. We used to be able to just drive through and ask for a toy at RM3 and drive away but not anymore. We have to order a Happy Meal now no matter what toy is selling…

We were in my in-law’s place last weekend when my BIL showed Ethan his Doraemon collection from Shell Select. He actually gave Ethan one Genza Doraemon (the yellow cat) but Ethan did not managed to assemble it as he has never done 3D Puzzle before. He got me to help him and surprisingly, I managed! It was my very first time with 3D puzzles too! :D

RM8.90 each if I’m not mistaken (I dunno coz I tak beli), it is like buying ‘TIKAM’ as you do not know which character you’ll be getting in the box. What if you kept getting the same characters? You’ll then need to ask around and see if any of your friends have others that you can change with. I for one, will not be bothered to go through all these hassle. I’m not even a Doraemon fan! I find that it has the most irritating voice in this entire world >_<

My BIL on the other hand is a big fan I reckon. He even bought the HOUSE that doubles as speakers I think…

Any of you are collecting them as well? I can’t imagine the patience you have to assemble all those 3D puzzles. I almost go bonkers with just ONE… Can’t imagine if I have to assemble them ALL! -.-

but i think what McD is doing now is right.. the Happy Meal toys are meant to come with Happy Meals, so it make sense to make people buy Happy Meal to get the toys.. :)

oh, your BIL also collecting this Doraemon set?? he is missing the Sueno (we called him Ah Fook, he has horizontal spiky hair on his forehead, haha!!).. do you think i collect also?? of course lah, avid fans, and thank god i have finally DONE with the COMPLETE set lu, haha!! and assembling the 3D puzzle is actually not easy at all, i find Sueno the most difficult, your BIL have fun yeah.. if he wants, there’s a FB group that everyone goes in for exchange, get him to join.. else, heard that Shell is organizing events next month to gather all fans at one place so that everyone can exchange the one they need~~ ooooh, come to talk about Doraemon, i sure very informative, muahahaha!! :D

  LoL! Of coz I know you’ll collect them all lah! I know you suka Doraemon. Doraemon Mooncake ada beli this year? Fuiyo.. I did not know about the FB group and the Shell event. Must let my BIL know! So… is the ‘house’ really a speaker?

I love puzzles, but I don’t think I will buy this lor…after assemble then collect dust nia :p

I can’t understand too but I have current ex-collegue both hubby n wifey are fans of doraemon. They do really collecting each and everyone. Their house full with doraemon racks. So it’s fun to go around with the half as free time activites. It’s healthy and fun hobbies to be.. I do not collect all the minions left out a few but I enjoyed the fever of toys collection going around. I’m not selling but it’s rather a good experience along the journey.

Merryn, your brother-in-law is missing out “Sinyu” in the Malay version of the comics. In Cantonese he is “Ah Fook” with spiky hair and a pointy mouth lol. Supposedly very rich and he’s like Giant’s wingman to bully Nobita or “Tai Hung” in Cantonese!
