Ethan’s 6th Birthday
My little boy is finally not so little anymore. He is SIX now!
He has never celebrated his birthday in school. The reason being he has never been to school prior to April this year. So this year he is very excited counting down to his birthday so he can celebrate with all his friends in kindy.
The preparation for his birthday started last week when we shopped for his party pack goodies. We came home and he packed them himself. All almost 40 packs of them!
He has a very good system, using the tiles as a guide :)
As for me, on Friday, I woke up early to fry chicken meatballs and boil cocktail sausages to be delivered to his school.
When we arrived at his school, this is what greeted us:

Makan time! The school was so nice to prepare meehoon as they know we’ll be celebrating Ethan’s birthday that day.
Ethan gave out the party packs before the end of class and some of his school mates gave him presents too.
We spent our weekend making THANK YOU cards for those who gave him presents :)
On Saturday night, after our weekly swim, we went for steamboat (again) to celebrate Ethan’s birthday. Those are his birthday gifts from Daddy – Optimus Prime and Starscream.
Then on the actual day itself which was on Sunday, I boiled eggs for Ethan.
My boy is finally officially SIX! Can’t believe it that it has been 6 years since I first held him in my arms <3
We went back to my in-law’s place that day as my SIL has already bought a cake for Ethan.
Ethan’s Superman cake from Secret Recipe. Yep, it is Secret Recipe again! I think we got SR overdose this year! :D
My BIL and SIL also gave Ethan the cute pink PIG and that glow in the dark keychain.
Ethan had a great time ‘celebrating’ being an ‘adult’. He is so proud that he is now SIX and kept going around telling people that he is no longer 5 but SIX!
So the next time you see him, take note that this little mister is SIX now and no longer 5 okay? :P
