Monsters University – PETROSAINS Promotional Campaign
The school holidays means going out ‘jalan-jalan’ around town. We went to Petrosains as Ethan loves it here. The last we were here was a year ago when he spent 5 hours exploring Petrosains! You can read all about it here.
This time around, Petrosains has a movie tie-up with Monsters University.
Ethan happily took a picture with the monsters and blended quite well I must say. He looks just like one of them! LoL!
There’s also a COUNT THE MONSTERS contest where we stand a chance to win iPad Mini, movie passes and exclusive limited edition Monsters University premium items and Petrosains merchandise.
Each Petrosains tickets purchased entitled you to a contest form.
Darling counting the monsters in the box full of Monsters University plush toys at the Hot Science area.
Ethan dropping our contest forms into the box.
Not only that, there is also Monsters University Campus at Teater Ungku Omar every Sunday (10am-12noon) from 19th May – 16th June 2013 with MAGICAL MATH activities and quizzes all lined-up.
If you join PETROSAINS FAMILY MEMBERSHIP during the promotion period (18th May – 30th June 2013) you’ll get 2 movie passes and a limited edition Monsters University T Shirt.
Last but not least, there are also promotional giveaways in the form of Monsters University Stickers to any child or students (while stocks last).
We spent almost 5 hours here again today. As usual, Ethan is very fascinated with this kinetic energy conversion activity.
Together with the daddy, they rearrange those pipes so that the ball can go through them smoothly.
Another of his all-time favourite is this hydraulic digger. Digging and transferring pebbles, I stood there waiting for almost half an hour!
Ethan and Darling had great fun playing with the Air Cannon. Look at Ethan ‘shooting’ air into his father’s face! LoL!
One thing that Ethan will make sure to ride in Petrosains is the Astro Canyon Coaster. RM3 per person, he’ll never miss this simulation ride!
Ethan enjoyed many other rides in Petrosains.
Look at him skiing! Haha!
Here he is driving again…
Ethan stopped by the Magical Math booth to test his IQ. He was given 3 pieces of board and was instructed to form a triangle out of them.
Surprise, surprise! He managed to get it done in no time :D
As a reward, he gets to participate in a session of magic.
He also remembers this goal keeper simulation and spent a considerable amount of time here as well before I managed to coax him into the 3D room to watch dinosaurs.
Here we are trying on our 3D glasses before the start of the show. In case you are wondering, yes, I’ve chopped off my long locks. I now have very short hair ^_^
Before we call it a day, Ethan played with this larger than life ‘tablet’. It’s a touch screen pond and he got busy trying to catch the fish in it.
After almost 5 hours in there, we made our way out. It was a good start to the school holidays. Don’t forget to make your way to Petrosains to count the Monsters!
