Crane Dance, Resort World Sentosa Singapore

On our first night in Singapore, we were thankful that the weather is beautiful with no rain to make it possible for us to catch the much anticipated Crane Dance in Resort World Sentosa. We took the Angry Birds Cable Car to Sentosa.

The show is scheduled at 9pm but tourists lingered around the area as early as 8pm! We went to take our seat at 8.45pm after having our dinner.

At 9pm sharp, a burst of fireworks lit up the calm evening. That’s when the magic begins…

A couple of animatronic cranes romanced each other in a courtship ritual. Although the place is filled with people, we felt the romance engulfing us just by being there… under the beautiful bursts of fireworks, drops of water brushing our faces and being serenaded by lovely music score.

What can I say, it was simply mesmerizing. I’ve never seen anything so beautiful!

is it something new or been there long ago? no wonder heard my mom said before, our water fountain at this Mines is nothing compare to the one she saw at Singapore……well, judging from the pic, it’s indeed much more high tech and beautiful!

  Alice I’m not too sure if your mom refers to this or the Lake of Dreams coz when you mention water fountain, I got a feeling your mom is referring to the later. This Crane Dance has been in Spore since early 2011. It is a MUST watch if u r ever in Singapore. Best of all is it is FREE!!

Did you enjoy the show while recording this? You know.. I cannot concentrate on the show when I am recording or taking pictures… this happened when I was in LV.. wanted to record the MJ lookalike singing and dancing.. then I felt that I missed out a lot while recording..I quickly chucked the camera away… but when it comes to watching tv and computer, surprisingly, can concentrate wor… hahahhaa…
Anyway, Singapore is indeed doing very well… tremendous response from all over the world!! :)

  Claire, most of the time I just point the camera in their direction n watch the performance LIVE with my eyes. Anyway, we went there again on Monday to catch it one final time b4 returning to KL.

I dont know about this at all! This is truly amazing and it is FREE some more! How long is the show and they have it everyday?? Must must go this crane dance if I go Singapore one day.

  It is shown everyday in December. For the rest of the months, not everyday. Got to check the latest with them though.
