Awana Genting Eco Sport Treasure Hunt
Thanx to Resorts World Genting and Nuffnang, we were up in Awana Genting Long House over the weekend.
One of the activities arranged for us bloggers during the Tribal Halloween event is Eco Sport Treasure Hunt.
Bloggers gathering in front of the Long House.
Bloggers being divided into 4 groups. I did not join any of these 4 groups but run together as their photographer instead.
Each group has to think of a name and dance for their group and perform it in front of other groups. This was hilariously fun! I laughed so hard until I shook the camera! LoL!
One member of each group is then required to lead all bloggers for a warm-up session before the treasure hunt. Darren got them dancing to Oppa Gangnam style there!
And the race begins!
First task requires the bloggers to solve a Sudoku and word search puzzle. The Sudoku part is quite tough.
After completing the puzzles, the bloggers were given another clue. Upon reading the clue, they ran to the Eco Park located not too near from the Long House! Huff puff…
The bloggers are then given two long planks of different length and use it to their intelligence to connect Point A to Point B so they can all cross over without touching the ground. You have to use your brain for this task and teamwork is crucial. You have to make sure non of your group member fall out so there’s a lot of group hug involved! Haha..
Upon completing this task, the bloggers were given another clue that leads them to a lake in the Eco Park but guess what? Two teams collected wrong clues at the lake. Those clues were meant for some other previous treasure hunts!!
Wrong clues lead them to wrong places and made them climb this torturous stairs!
The bloggers also ended up in this football field in the midst of some football game. The football players sat at the side watching us looking for the next clue for some time. One of them then told us that there is another football field nearby that may have clues in it. As the bloggers were running towards the other field, the Treasure Hunt marshal told us that there is no task at the football field and only then they found out that they have collected the WRONG clue!
The bloggers ran back to the lake to retrieve another clue and this time they showed it to the marshal to make sure it’s the correct clue!
They are just happy that they are in the right track again :D
Next task is archery. The bloggers are given 5 arrows each to try scoring the highest points for their team. Each team was given a set of questionnaire upon completion of that task.
The easiest way to get answers to the questionnaire is always to get help from the Information Counter!
Once done, they proceed to the next task of having their group photo taken at 4 specific locations:
#1 With a white buggy
#2 With a giant golf ball
#3 In front of Awana Genting sign
#4 With the bull
Done all that they proceed to the next task – Minesweeper!
Four members were blind-folded while another four stand on the opposite side directing them to move forward without stepping on the mines. They’ll have to restart from the beginning should they accidentally step on the plates.
Look at the happy faces of the bloggers as they were heading towards their last task back at the Long House.
Last task: Puzzle. They have to complete 3 puzzles using all the pieces given.
With the Treasure Hunt completed, the bloggers took turn to shower at the Long House.
Darren and Daniel entertained the crowd while waiting for their turn to shower while …
Will getting all CUTE with the Halloween costumes as the Zombies of RWG and the bloggers get ready for a creepy night out. Read all about our Dinner with Zombies here.
