Ted : When a teddy bear is not a child’s play
Nuffnang had this screening of Ted tonight. The first time I saw it in their blog I went, “SO CUTE!” and showed it to Ethan to which he also exclaimed, “So CUTE!!”. But I saw that it will be screened in Mid Valley so I decided not to go for this as it will be too far for us.
Starring Mark Wahlberg I’m kinda tempted to go but thinking of the distance from our place to Mid Valley and it being a night screening will not be worth it since it is on a weekday and Ethan will have to wake up early for his Mandarin class tomorrow.
So I just brush it aside thinking that we’ll go catch this some time soon over the weekends. And then I got this:
Benjamin notified me that Ted is NOT suitable for Ethan.
Normally I’ll let Ethan watch the trailer before deciding if we will go for a particular movie or not but since I know I won’t be going for this screening, we did not watch the trailer.
Another reason is we saw how CUTE the bear is so why the need for the trailer? How bad can a movie with such a cute bear be? Right? WRONG! It’s cute alright but it’s NOT for kids!
Mommies, don’t be fooled by this cute little bear. I have finally watched the official trailer today.
And I only have this to say, “So CUTE! >_<“ I’d definitely WANT to go catch this *just look at Ted dancing!* Â if I am still in my dating years with Darling but now that we have Ethan, this kinda movie will have to wait…
Just watch this lah! Oh my gawd… It’s CUTE alright and I bet Ethan will just laugh and think that THAT is cute! Ting, ting, ting…
You know what? Things like this makes me appreciate my blogging life. We bloggers are united, going for events and movie screenings together. And best of all, now, they are looking out for Ethan as well. Benjamin has his mind on Ethan when he saw how vulgar and explicit that Ted bear can be and so he told me not to bring Ethan for that as they all know that I always bring Ethan to every movie screenings we attend.
Thank you Benjamin and everyone out there who has been looking out for Ethan and I in past events and more. We truly appreciate it :)
it’s a good choice u didn’t go for Ted LOL
Definitely not for Ethan. Ted is really cute though. =D
HAHA.. y u so privilege one? Got ‘reporter’ report to you one loh! So nice.. i apa apa pun tarak…EKEKEKEK.
hahaha… i watched it a few months back. Full of vulgar and got nude scene! Nice tho :P
I love Ted, he can be my buddy if Ethan don’t wanna be mine xD
Lucky the venue was the hold back. Or not…*faint* haha
It’s not suitable for Merryn too! XD
LoL! Why??????????? >_<
haahhaha xD i laugh at this comment
Too bad for you cause it’s the best adult comedy of the year thus far for me lol. Ted movie review
It’s here, is it? Saw the trailer on youtube a long time ago… Was it last year or something. I think the bear is rather foul-mouthed – wouldn’t be nice if it’s all censored.
Luckily you didn’t go with Ethan…
You still can watch, but wait till Ethan sleep then watch lol.
OH! I did not read the ratings. Saw the teddy and immediately assumed it was safe for all including kids. Hehehe. So Sweet of Ben!
oh wahahaha really not suitable for kids.
That cute bear is so misleading……
Poor Ted…not his fault.. it is the humans who made Ted bad mouthed like that… hor..
The bear is cute but yeah look can be deceiving :P Awwww, Ben saves the day!
I thought this movie is for children…so misleading
and we get so many good friends from blogging, isn’t that sweet?
The bear looks creepy to me. Haha!
Seriously, I’ll freak out if a toy as big as that comes to life. I had nightmares as a kid about dolls, probably from watching Chuck.
I thought it was a movie for kids too. Cheers! :)
Guys love this movie. Some of my friends watched it before it came out. Luckily you guys decided not to go!
Ted is one bad bear?? NOOOOO, I wanted to bring my kids to see the cutest bear on the block!
The bear is cute! Thank you for this post, else I’ll be thinking this movie is for kids too!
