After learning making mooncakes and tasting the entire range of mooncakes at Resort Cafe Genting, we proceeded to Bubbles & Bites to have a bite (pun intended :P). It was way over lunch and we are all famished so we had quite a lot of food that day. 

Bubbles & Bites is a casual continental cottage cuisine with a rustic concept that specialize in pizza and pastas.

Here are some of the food that we had. Yes, I said ‘some’ as I did not manage to capture all of them! -.-

Caesar Salad (RM15.00)

We started off our lunch with garden fresh baby romaine lettuce, garlic croutons, egg, beef bacon with creamy house caesar dressing and topped with smoked salmon.

Home-style Macaroni & Cheese (RM15.00)

Ethan’s favourite and I truly agree as each macaroni is filled with rich and thick cheese. Each bite is sinfully delicious! A must-haves in Bubbles & Bites!

Al Dente Spaghetti (RM19.00)

Cooked with wine, garlic, tomato and seafood sauce, this alone is enough for the pasta addict me.

Pizza Carbonara (RM21.00)

Creamy base with button mushrooms, chicken ham, spring onions, garlic and parmesan cheese.

Thai Red Curry Seafood (RM21.00)

Thai red curry sauce base, tiger prawns, marinated calamari, mussels, mushrooms & lychees with mozzarella cheese. This is definitely one unique and interesting pizza. It’s nice to have this slightly spicy pizza up in the cool Genting!

Isle of Capri (RM21.00)

Rich tomato base with sliced turkey ham, mushrooms, spanish red onion, cherry tomatoes, mozzarella, grilled red capsicum and plump anchovies.

Lam Lee Burger (RM20.00)

Yeah I know! Lam Lee! LoL! Bubbles & Bites’ take on the signature classic Malaysian street burger. It’s NOTHING like our street burger I tell you. Presentation and taste wise, this is rather too posh to be linked with our beloved street burger. 

Peri Peri Chicken Wings (RM16.00) 

THIS is the winner today! Everyone’s favourite, we ordered a second, third and even forth plate of this! We just can’t get enough of this savoury and very appetising peri peri chicken wings!

8 hour slow braised lamb shank (RM23.00)

I’m surprised that this lamb shank, served on cous cous costs a mere RM23! It is slow braised for 8 hours, ensuring every bit of flavors is being absorbed into the tender meat. Melt in the mouth texture, this is another winner. 

If you are planning to make a trip here, the must-haves is definitely the Peri Peri Chicken Wings and Macaroni & Cheese. 

As for drinks, you just need to make your way to this counter and take your pick.

Ethan and I do not take alcoholic beverages so we opt for these bottled juices…

while the rest of had margaritas and the likes of it. According to them, Bubbles & Bites serves wicked cocktail drinks! I guess that’s what the BUBBLES meant in Bubbles & Bites!
