Pulai Desaru Beach Resort & Spa

Remember I posted in early July about wanting to go for a beach vacation? My friends heard me so we planned for a weekend retreat down south. They planned to drive down together to Johor early Friday morning but thinking about being in the car for 4-5 hours straight scares the heck out of me. We decided to drive back to Malacca on Thursday night instead and put a night at my mom’s place before meeting up again with the rest of the gang the next day at the highway. Thank goodness everything went smoothly and after approximately 3 hours drive, we found ourselves in the beautiful Pulai Desaru Beach Resort and Spa.

We were given refreshing cool towel to freshen us up upon arrival.

As soon as we entered our room, I am amazed at how spacious it is. If you have sensitive nose like mine that reacts negatively to carpets, you’ll be glad to know that the room is not carpeted but tiled instead. Clean and spacious, I am beginning to love our vacation!

This is the corner that I promised myself not to touch on a holiday vacation. This is where I usually place my laptop on any working trip but not this time as I did not bring it along. It’s going to be a GREAT vacation! :D

Long bath. I can’t wait to soak my aching body in there!

And when I opened the shades to look at the balcony, I cried in delight at the view we got! We are right smack in the middle overlooking the beautiful swimming pool and the wide, endless beach with lots and lots of green! This is LOVE!

I saw this long reflexology path when we took a stroll along the resort later in the evening. I walked like an old lady on this path. They say if you feel much pain means you are not in your tiptop condition and looking at the way I walked here, I bet I am not doing much good internally :(

We went to the beach in the evening and Ethan loves the white fine sand.

Ethan brought along his cars collection and played with them on the beach :)

While Darling and the boys had fun jumping over waves! ^_^

We headed to the swimming pool after the beach and continued having a splashing good time here.

I planned to wake up really early the next morning to catch the sunrise but failed as my eyes were just too heavy. Imagine my surprise when I woke up at 7am and saw this from the balcony:

Sunrise at 7am! Amazing! And best of all we get to see it from the comfort of our balcony!

Darling and I spent a good 15 minutes sitting here at the balcony to bask in the magnificent sunrise glow while Ethan is still happily in dreamland.

This two cutie boys continued playing sand at the beach after breakfast. We love the beach and did not have enough of it :(

I wanna buy a beach house and retire there!

oh.. good holiday… I went there years back and it was not as good as shown yet… guess refurbished over years.. :D

The hotel room is sooo spacious!! I must go there one day. I love the pool and of course the sea!! I agreed with you on the last photo. Really look very tall!
